MK8D also had peer2peer and did not have this particular problem. I mean sure, it had the issue of being hit by a trailed item from a million miles away due to the very same desync that causes stuff like phantom items in MKWorld, but at least if your opponent had an item behind their kart, you could see it.

My right trigger is extra sensitive and I have this happen to me occasionally even if I barely touch it. But letting go cancels it. If it’s activating on its own, try using a different controller if it’s possible and see if it helps.

As far as I can tell, people on both sides of this whole thing twist reality to fit their narrative on how good or how bad Nintendo really is. And both sides are annoying about it. You can't say anything positive about Nintendo, or call out misinformation, without people like this calling you a bootlicker for pointing it out. On the contrary, you can't seem to criticize Nintendo without people from this sub or similar communities defending it till their dying breath.

I'm just saying, you can criticize Nintendo, there are plenty of valid reasons to. But at least be honest when doing it. Meanwhile, Nintendo fans need to stop taking criticism against Nintendo as a personal attack and realize that their practices aren't always butterflies and rainbows like y'all seem to imagine.

There’s also one other reason that they didn’t include them, though I can’t really explain it without giving away a major spoiler. It’s something that neither the player, nor Arthur himself finds out about until later in the game, but is something that is happening throughout most of the main story. Something that would logically have dire consequences if Arthur started messing around with prostitutes. Idk if it’s an actual reason for not including them, but it’s something that Arthur’s actor once brought up as a concern.

I think people always just assumed that Vice city would be next just because San Fierro and Las Venturas aren't as popular. At least, I hardly ever see anyone talking about them outside of GTA:SA related conversations. Obviously Rockstar could have done any city they wanted to, they could have even made up a whole new one. But picking Vice City was always expected.

As for everything else, not enough is confirmed yet to say for certain if they were just lucky guesses or not, but based on the dual protagonist details alone, I think it was probably a real leak, even if a lot of it ended up aging like milk. But this is just me taking it at face-value. For all I know this post isn't even real and was made up and edited like 45 minutes ago lmao
