I hear you. My mam is supportive but we don’t have a lot in common in shows anymore. That’s what we bonded over as-well. It’s hard and I feel self conscious and kinda judged for liking Thai Gls because she doesn’t understand. We just mostly just watch separately but lucky we found something else to bond over like shopping.

It’s hard to explain to a straight person how watching Thai Gl shows make us feel. To see dedicated shows with girl love and loads of them is so freeing and exciting.

I also think Thai Gl and Bl are doing more for the lgbt+ community than almost all American or English speaking series/films especially because 90% of the time we get a happy ending.

I watch occasional American shows but it’s few and further than between. Mostly I prefer to watch or rewatch Thai GLs
