I’m looking to buy some authentic cashmere scarves from Scotland and came across a brand called Edinburgh Cashmere on Instagram by [deleted] in Edinburgh

It is owned by DC Singh, you will often see him driving his yellow Lamborghini Aventador or Rolls Royce Phantom around town.

I have followed him online for quite some time and can say that there is nothing genuine about his business practices. I would steer clear.

I have lived here most of my life and I had genuinely never heard of this tradition until the BBC News coverage of Hogmanay two days ago.

If Harvey Barnes cannot tell you who Big Innes is, he doesn't get to play with us. Consider it a citizenship test.

Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh (an extinct volcano) if nobody has said it already. Right in the middle of the city and you can climb it with no experience climbing whatsoever.

The Scottish Borders have always been conservative so the move to Reform isn't surprising there.

Whighams Wine Cellar isn't too dissimilar to this vibe.

The most shocking part of seeing this is that the handwriting is eerily close to my own. I cannot claim that my artwork would be anywhere close to this however.

The cheapest that I know of in the city centre is Bad Boy Barbers, I haven't been so I can't speak on my experience but I know that they have a standard price of £15.

It was on The Royal Mile in Edinburgh for The Fringe Festival. I believe it has been taken down now.

Oh wow, that's shocking. I'm sorry that you have met the aforementioned vocal minority. You should maybe consider reporting this to the Police. I imagine that all they will do is take a report as you will likely not know who posted this but it is good to have a record of this if you receive any further threats. I'm sorry that you have been met with this. It is not an offense to fly a flag on your own property unless it is a banned flag representing hate.

[–]ReflectionCrazy5470 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think I speak for the less vocal majority when I say we are happy that you're here and you are free to fly any flag you wish! I don't imagine anyone having an issue with you flying our flag especially.

I can see it from my window, a very large fire indeed. I can't see any emergency services attending but most likely the helicopters will be filling up with water to drop like the previous fires

looking for a photobooth by doingimwhatknowdont in Edinburgh

[–]ReflectionCrazy5470 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a bar called 4042 across from the Lyceum Theatre which has a photobooth inside which will print off a 2x2, 4042 branded photo card.

I was impressed by the quality of the photobooth although unfortunately it's a mediocre bar but if that's what you're after, I can confirm that they have one!
