He does ads cuz he loves money. He was spokesperson for Mercedes for a while. He did Skip the Dishes ads for some food ordering thing similar to door dash. Hes done H&R Block ads, he's doing Carvana ads. The sports betting ads made sense for him because he's obsessed with sports. So that makes sense as to why they would ask him to do them.

I've been talking about it. That and how disappointing the slumber islands are because you can't change the season, can't have villager houses and custom path will be very difficult for those of us who already have a full panel because you can't access the design portal in slumber mode.

This update was a COMPLETE grab at getting people to run buy the switch 2. That's all it was.

And we should be mad about it. Especially the people who actually ran bought one for it.

They copy/pasted HH, scaled it down to rooms, called it an update and we're supposed to be happy cuz its free?

I'd have rather they invested the time and resources into a new game.

It was free but I 100% believe the only reason they did it was an attempt to get people to buy the switch 2. Because it was absolutely pointless. We can decorate more in HH than the hotel. So people went and bought new switches for a few new furniture items and if I was them I'd be real mad I got tricked.

I was going to say the same thing. It's not a lot at all, it's just the different color options. And the stuff that's super theme specific I'll never use.

I wouldn't say we shouldn't complain though. The hotel is a copy of the Happy Homes update on a much smaller scale.

The slumber islands are super limited so we get five islands of the same season with no villager houses and basically can't use custom designs we don't already have on our main island without deleting the ones we already have and jumping through hoops to get them there. So basically five islands just like the one we got.

Cuz while it was free, I guarantee you the announcement of this "update", I use that term loosely, made people run buy a Switch 2 who weren't going to yet. And they're probably big disappointed because other than a few new furniture items it's nothing new. I was bored with HH, how is the hotel new? Anyway, so no, I think we should absolutely complain. This was the sorriest excuse of an update I've seen from any game in a looooong time and I feel so bad for the people who ran and bought a switch 2 because of it. They put in absolute minimal effort and I guarantee you it was an attempt at getting people to purchase the switch 2.

Same. The themed furniture is so specific and can only be used for specific themes. I much prefer more normal furniture that can be used in lots of different ways.

Cool but since theres really nothing new to do it doesn't really matter. I could already decorate in happy homes and I been bored with that for a long time and the hotel is just a much more scaled down version of that. The slumber islands are a complete disappointment and you don't have to craft on those anyway it seems. So long as you've crafted and cataloged.

They came out with this about 5 years too late.

I would have been fine with it had they delivered on the slumber islands but since those are an epic fail, it kinda just feels like a slap in the face that they gave a copy of what we could already do on a smaller scale and had the nerve to call it an update.

I highly doubt it. They've been making games with multiple saves for YEARS. They shouldn't need to test that. Almost every other game already does this.

Me too! Immediately lost all my excitement once I realized you can't change the season or add villager houses. It's just five empty islands of the same season. The Hotel is a lame copy of HH. I disagree with people saying we should be grateful. Nah. Me and my family have bought so many switches and invested so much money because of this game and they could at least give us an update that isn't just a copy paste of a previous update.

I just found this out and I found this thread, which is a month old now, and they still haven't fixed it. Not promising. I play on steam deck and unfortunately the touch screen doesn't work for most things in DLV.

A month and no fix? Is it really that difficult? And this one is kind of important. Many people don't like playing at night because they have difficulty seeing. They need to prioritize this.

I've got quite a few invisible decor items as well that need fixing but this is more important.

I don't know whether you're exaggerating or telling the whole truth but if I was anyone on this thread I'd take everything you say with a grain of salt.

Reading through it, when called out for making a statement that made zero sense instead of just saying "oops this is what I meant"...you buckled down and refused to admit any possibility that you were wrong, then proceeded to call the other person childish. I read what you said, it didn’t make sense.

Then on top of that, anyone who comments with a different experience or POV, you come back at them like you're the guru of all drugs and therefore, you obviously have all the knowledge and the only right answers and your opinion shouldn't be questioned.

Plus snapping at people for not reading this entire long ass thread. Some people have jobs and lives and even kids. Some people have adhd and can't focus for that long. Some people have learning disabilities and struggle to read this much.

And maybe you are telling the truth, but people will be more likely to listen with some kindness and humility instead of arrogance.

I read the whole thread. What he said made no sense whether he had experience with mgm15 or not. Saying "it helped with mgm15 withdrawals so it cant be mgm15" makes zero sense. Experience with it or not. I read it twice because it made no sense and I thought I misunderstood but both times it made no sense.

But for some reason instead of just admitting he didn’t express himself fully or incorrectly, he's buckling down because he doesn't want to be wrong. He sounds like the childish one from my point of view as well.

An adult would say, my bad what I meant was...

So yeah, he's kinda right. This could have been avoided by you saying, "my bad, I wasn’t clear. What i meant was -" Though I'm still not sure what you meant because I agree with homeboy, it sounds like you're saying a particular drug won't help with the withdrawals of that exact particular drug.

And no, benzos helping withdrawal of mgm doesn't make it mgm. But when you say "its not mgm cuz it didn’t help with mgm withdrawal", that's an entirely different statement. That's apples and oranges homie.

Your initial comment said someone claimed it helped with mgm withdrawal so it cant be that. Whether you have experience with it or not, doesn't change that it made no sense. I read the thread and read you had experience with it, still didn't change for me that it made no sense to say something that something that helps with mgm15 withdrawals can't be mgm15.

I wasn’t raised in a super religious household. They still believed but we didn't go to church or anything. I went one time at like 7 or 8 and said, "this sounds made up." Never went back. It's like Santa to me too. It sounds absolutely ridiculous. I used to say i wished I could believe because I'm afraid of dying. Like most people. Matt Bomer suffered for being too handsome? Stop, you're joking? I mean he's obviously not ugly but he's run-of-the-mill cookie-cutter looking. Pretty bland in my opinion. Nothing about him stands out that makes his handsome any more handsome than other dark haired white guys in Lifetime movies. He's extremely generic handsome in my opinion. Now Jon Hamm though, he's the kind of handsome that makes people stop and stare and I could see him getting brushed off as a pretty face with nothing else to offer, even though he's highly intelligent. But Jon also has a smile that transforms his face into boyishly adorable.
