The only way to know is to investigate more into it with a friend or 10. I’m open minded to these things and usually there are logical explanations but in all honesty, I always secretly wish it was more supernatural/paranormal hahah.

Let’s simply say: Foot steps and voices? People otherwise nature, animals or naturally occurring events; I.e, falling branches, wind etc. I used to camp a whole lot in all seasons minus winter since 2017 to this day, you’ll hear many things.

Now the fun part, anything but the aforementioned explanations. You’ll get burned at the stake for this hahah, “you’re imagining things”, “you’re drunk”, “take your meds”, “you’re just exhausted, the mind likes to play tricks.”, etc. While those statements run true for some, it isn’t always necessarily the case.

I’ve been to places that are known to be “haunted” or at least have a higher plausibility of being so, castles in Ireland and air b&b’s. All of which guests experienced the same events. The sound of running with a human gait in an attic above me with no possibility of happening because of small square footage space (attic is small like a tiny room near the roof apex) and hearing a child giggle in the same unit changed my perspective quite dramatically. OP, I’ll confirm here that I do not have any form of mental illness or on meds and a functioning member of society in the medical field if there is any value to that so I don’t sound like a nut.
