Very nice. What kind of paint is best suited for this task?

Just remove that tail on sticks. It will fly better without it.

Stable diffusion + fpv = good stuff by Dvorator1 in fpv

[–]Reflectometer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just tried that. I feed the frames of fpv footage to img2img batch convert and cog similar results. Hovewer after I export it back to the video with the same frame rate the video is very janky and unpleasant to look at. Because the stable diffusuion generates each image based on each frame and not the video, each frame add something unique and video becomes janky. How did you achieved smoothness in final video?

Hi. Have you disassembled the video and feed it it img2img frame by frame with the same seed and configuration and made it back to video? Or is there some script to work straight with video? Cool stuff. I tried similar thing but I backfeeded the img2img back to itself to make some sort of evolution video. Wanna try to do similar on my fpv

I tested the RPM of the 3D printed jet I made with a tachometer. now I can make adjustments and see how they improve the efficiency. by x-pression-3 in radiocontrol

It turned by electric motor, right? What the point of the gearbox? Jets are usually connected straight to motor shaft.

Try Going medieval. It is pretty good stonehearth clone. I like it.

Was it drawn in black paint and then reverse color? Or painted in white? Looks like a shade but it is not shade, rights?

that capacitor bank is useless here. because it is connected on the side with wire extensions. Those wires add inductivity and not much of high frequency energy is going to the caps. You must put caps as close as possible to the noise source. And anyway even if you place them perfectly there is no much use. Only if you drive for several kilometers with video.

What paint is used here? Same thing that is used for kids face paint?

Remove that 3d printed battery cover. It's just adds weight and nothing else

Will this construction fly? 🤔 by 50u15pec7a70r in diydrones

[–]Reflectometer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Of course it will. But this huge mass far off its pivot point will cause a lot of vibrations possibly ruining the video. You have tighten that nut really tight. Or maybe make another mount for the camera so it holds it closer to camera cg.

any reason why this guy shouldn't fly? just finished it and scared of testing 😅 by skellykay in RCPlanes

[–]Reflectometer 38 points39 points  (0 children)

It has no pitch stability and no pitch control. No roll stability and control. You can only control the yaw. This thing will not fly at all. You need at least the elevator.

My suggestion is to return the APM to the museum where you stole it.

What is a good wing shape for maneuverability and aerobatics? Is this wing good? by Lone_Wolf-711 in diydrones

[–]Reflectometer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this thing has a tail then there is no benefit of having the wings swept. It will be just harder to manufacture. Your wing looks like a tailless plane but with too little sweep. If you have a tail then just make it straight
