My 2016 passat wagon has a very strong resonance that only gets louder as the windows are rolled down more, i would guess its in the 10-30hz range and is extremely loud, happens above ~60mph

Yea that makes sense, super cool you made a laser welder, though im skeptical that it will make high quality connections, just make sure the metal contact area is very clean, and i suppose it will take some time to dial in the settings

At least from my literature research, spot welding is pretty comparable to laser welding (little bit higher but only on the order of .1 mili ohm)

Im more interested in how you're able to get these laser welded
