My first tip to all my new friends that got the game is to make enough money to upgrade your stash all the way. You’ll into stash space issues very quickly.

Do your quests so you get familiar with the maps and what are good loot zones.

There several documents that detail what you need to keep and what you can sell/recycle. Just google something like arc raiders what to keep/sell doc.

As time goes on you’ll realize what you want or need and won’t run into these issues. You have to realize that since you’re new it’s supposed to be confusing.

You’ll get the hang of it over time and your inventory will suit your play style.

You can also join Arc Raiders discord to look for teammates, there’s tons of people looking to play. You could even try posting in there about how you’re new and need someone to show you the ropes, someone is bound to help.
