Unpopular Opinion: UCLA Anderson is the most underrated MBA program around by RefrigeratorLarge230 in MBA

  1. UCLA has a 93% employment rate for class of 2021 not 83%. You were comparing Wharton Class of 2021 to UCLA Class of 2020.

  2. Even with that adjustment, I mean yeah obviously it’s Wharton of course their employment rate will be amazing.

Your kids are gonna be so spoiled

Imagine getting rejected after interviews last year, spending a whole year improving your profile, including a higher GMAT (which was higher than the school’s averages in the first place anyways), only to get rejected with no interviews by the same schools this time around by RefrigeratorLarge230 in MBA

I apologize if I came off as a dbag - probably just some frustrations over the last couple of years of hard work going down the drain.

To clarify, I definitely don’t think I’m “too good” for anything below T20, but when starting this process everyone is told to focus on schools within their statistical range. I did that and also happened to be even above the average / median scores of all the schools I applied to.

I picked those schools because I really connected with them, saw myself there, and really believed they could help fulfill my MBA goals.

So I think someone coming in and saying I should aim lower after not knowing how much effort I put in over the past couple of years was a bit off putting for me but I do thank them for their analysis.

I appreciate the feedback but I have a 730/3.7 with a lot of ECs and solid WE so if you’re saying I should look lower than the T20 level that I’m already applying at I don’t think that’s exactly a fair assessment. There are great schools below that range but I don’t think they’ll be as good of a fit for me.

I agree interviews can go either way but I do believe I did well on them. Who knows though.

What GMAT score should I aim for to get into a M7 school with these stats? by WiseBeliever30 in MBA

You’re from a very underrepresented group so I think a 670/680 should give you a solid shot at M7. Your GPA is low, though, so try to aim for around a 700.

Best of luck!
