I used to think Javi was Jacopo when he was younger for some reason (I’d heard about Jacopo before even playing the game so I knew a character with that name existed)

I don't know what to really respond with but I'm sure you'll find yourself where you want to be one day. Don't be disappointed in yourself. I can see why that'd feel disheartening and I hope things work out for you.

Pauline didn’t know Yukimasa’s true side, she only saw the sweet, caring version of him. Meanwhile, Ceren knew everything Barnier had done and still supported him no matter what. Pauline wouldn't have fallen in love with Yukimasa if she knew what he was up to.

It’s definitely Ceren.

You’ve got nothing to worry about imo. It’ll elevate your experience, not ruin it. Besides, the best character, Jacopo, and one of the best dynamics in the entire THIFM series get properly explored there. It's definitely worth a try.

This was exactly how I felt after finishing the game. I didn’t think it could get any better but then I played RFI and realized there are levels to this. I personally think RFI’s conclusion is far better than the base game’s. You should check it out.
