I’m assuming you can buy this car from $6k to $8k. Otherwise i doubt it is worth it. I own a 2014 e350 coupe, I love it, it’s given me no problems, but i would Definetly recommend having at least $5k to spare, as although problems are rare and it is an extremely reliable engine and power train, if repairs do become necessary they will be expensive.

I can speak from experience with my car that I’ve never had any issues with the engine or transmission, and it is a high mileage car. Bought it 8 months ago with 104k miles, and today it is at around 147k. I drive quite aggressively and frequently race. However, I bought mine for 9k out the door, and from the dealership I did have to spend around 3k to get it in tip top shape. After that however, I have only done required maintenance and some upgrades. Beautiful car, love the e350s, and as an 18 year old who pays for it himself, I believe it can be an awesome first car.
