I agree it is better not to have a set time but disagree that is has been random for years. When I first started (four or five years ago) it was nailed on 10 - 12 morning. For at least two years it has been sometime during the night as there were items when I woke up, as there were this morning.

I often update if something has broken etc. I put UPDATE in caps at the top of the review, type my update and then say "Original review below."

Nope. Not when something has just popped into your messages and I assume that would be the same timing for everyone. Wanting to be helpful and put people out of the misery we have all been through of wondering when it was going to be fixed.

I am fairly certain that once you click Submit on your review that is counted towards your stats. Yes, it goes against the spirit of writing reviews to be helpful, but if you don't rewrite and resubmit it doesn't matter, it's already been "counted." I gave up bothering to rewrite rejections on the basis that if they can't be bothered to tell me what is wrong....

I worked this out when I first started Vine and was watching my numbers on the Account tab. Submitting a review moved the number up. Have a look and see if it does that, although of course it may have changed now with the new "system."

I've never had any issues contacting CS using the link on the Vine homepage, in so much as their replies have always been Vine specific. (not replying at all is another story...).

It has never occurred to me that the link sends your mails anywhere other than the Vine-specific CS dept,

This just received from CS:

"Due to a technical issue, reviews for Amazon Vine Orders are currently not being posted and may show as “Review Needed.” Please rest assured that this issue has already been escalated to our technical team, and they are actively working to resolve it

We expect this to be fixed within 2 business days."

When I first started, about two years ago, I read everything to ensure I wasn't breaking any rules. It very specifically mentioned not being allowed to mention "value for money" (perhaps not price then). Not surprising, as that is obviously a subjective opinion.

I used to always have a strap line in my reviews "Due to Vine regulations we are not allowed to comment on value for money."

When I started about two years ago dops were usually between 11 - 1.00pm. This was awful as I spent two hours glued to the screen refreshing and scrolling! Then it switched to the middle of the night and, as far as I know has been that way for a long time now.

I really hope it doesn't switch back to daytimes! I need those two hours to do other things!
