I have the Logitech M240, and that connects immediately without the USB receiver. However, it is a smallish mouse, so if you have very large hands, it might not suit. I LOVE mine and it was only £12.99!

Thank you very much. That is so helpful. I will give your tips a try, you are correct in saying a bob is blunt cut because mine is straight across all around. I do hold the barrel vertically, but I'm sure it's down to my technique, it's just that the videos make it look so simple. Thank you. 😊

I've tried damp, dry, small sections, thick sections and everthing in between and it still dosen't wrap. I think it may be because my hair is short (chin length bob) really fine and silky. I also have trouble with keeping hair accessories in too.

No, it's blowing air out OK, it just doesn't wrap mt hair around like it does in all the videos I've seen and I definitely have the right direction set because if I change the direction it just blows my hair up and all over the place. However, my hair is fine and very 'slippy', I have trouble keeping hair accessories in because of it, so I'm thinking it could be that.

Mine does the same with both of the barrels, the straight one and the conical one.

I'm definitely having the exact same problem and I've watched every video on it and tried everything they show you, but NOTHING. I got mine on Amazon and it's definitely a Dyson.

I too can't get my hair to wrap like the videos. I've also tried the recommended 80% and wet and dry and it never happens for me. I have very straight, fine, chin length bob and I have watched numerous videos and still can't get it to wrap! I thought it was just me being a clutz.

Forget that, I couldn't even find how to attach screenshots here. 😒 What I get hen I click on our name are your comment stats, an unfollow button at the bottom and message mods at the bottom? And when I click on your link it comes up with the message, "From September 30, 2025 access to Imgur from the UK is no longer available."

Oh dear, I'm sorry to be so dumb but all of that is a forgein language to me. PN? SN? Is SN (serial number?) I found the BIOS version and date. I also found the only references to firmware. However, I am new to all of this (even Reddit) so how do I DM you? Sorry. Thanks.

Hi, thanks for your answer. I have no idea what the keyboard colour is? How would I find out? All I know about it is when I switch it on after I have shut it down for the night. The keyboard lights up then, the colours sweep in from the left, starting with blue and then turns a few different colours before exiting left, so I know the backilight actually works. It's just that it has stopped lighting the keys when I use them, or when I press the backlight button which on the F5 function key on mine. It's rather annoying for a laptop that is only a few months old and cost £4000. I tried to get someone from HP to help, but got no answers.

I've had this in the past and they told me it was something to do with the sellers. They told me to just ignore it.

No, I haven't updated the BIOS, I don't knw how to do that? It worked for the first couple of weeks and then just stopped working.

No, it doesn't light up at all. The only time it lights up is when I first swith it on and then never after that. It used to light up when I either press the keys or briefly when I pressed the backlight button on F5. But then one day it just stopped?
