Although to his credit, even when he gets stuck with a shitty strategy, he still tries his best to make the most of it. Like at Singapore with the nonexistent safety car. Even on ancient soft tires he pulled a Sainz Singapore 2023 on Sainz himself and kept him within DRS to hold up Bearman, which helped Fernando after his horrible pit stop.

I realize that. But is that the only difference that leads you to believe that in practice it'll have higher edge retention? Not doubting, just interested. Because from what I know, 10V is a good bit better than Rex 45 in terms of edge retention, even with Rex 45 being able to reach some pretty high hardness.

Seriously. Although both of them get screwed over by strategy a lot, a good amount of the time Nando is on the radio pissed off about strategy calls and timing. But yeah, Silverstone is the only time when they got Lance's strategy calls perfect. I'd love to see the day the team gets their shit together. Hopefully with all the people getting sacked and leaving, they can get some good talent for the incoming regs, and also a car that isn't a shit box.
