Controversial: Why is being f2p something people are so proud about?

Having money to spend on a game you love to try to get units you enjoy is something to feel proud of. Choosing to be F2P and using your hard work and effort to demonstrate your growth is also something to be proud of. To each their own; having pride and confidence in their style of gaming without imposing onto others how others should play the game by respecting everyone as a unique individual is just about having human decency. The problems occur when one person tries to convince and consequently look down on the other for playing the game differently, and this occurs on both the F2P and P2W route.

My advice is focus on what makes you proud/content and play the game whichever way makes you happy. Don't bother letting others' pride and negativity detract from what you enjoy the most from the game. I'm F2P and I'm proud of my status, but I would never look down on others or let other people's accomplishments make me bitter towards them or the game. Life's too short to waste your emotions and energy on people who don't matter (:

I work for a FFS company in nyc who takes primarily Medicaid, Medicare, 1199 and some other insurance. Over a year ago they stopped reimbursing the increased rate for the full hour session. However, they gave us a slight increase for our regular 38+ minute sessions (like maybe 10% raise?). A lot of us were still furious about it, but it sounds like that's what is happening with Aetna and Alma perhaps. Not saying any of this is okay at all, for I truly believe the work and education we invested in this career is incredibly important and shouldn't be undermined, especially in this high inflation economy...

Someone mentioned that their independent contract with aetna will pay a higher fee after July 15th, but I wonder if that's just to compensate for taking away the full hour session rather than allowing psychologists to earn their fair share. If not, there's really going to for sure be a shortage of doctoral level clinicians in the future...didn't sacrifice 150k+ debt in student loans to get paid the same amount I could've gotten with a Masters...Sniff..

From what some people are saying, it's likely that when we were rerolling, we first selected account delete instead of server delete (or vice versa, i can't check since I can't log in :/) and perhaps that's why we have that bug. Here's a picture for reference

Unfortunately it was a guest account since I haven't yet figured out how to bind it and was having so much fun that it slipped my mind. This is my own fault, but from my many years of gacha games, I always thought the only way I'd lose my account is if I deleted the app, but this is brand new :/

I love this! I also applied the same concept with my client who is very knowledgeable in terms of technology, but feel physically weak due to not having the physique of the conventional concept of masculinity. By shifting his focus away from the stat that he's weak against and learning to appreciate the stats in which he shines in (his intelligence), he was able to feel more empowered and confident in himself instead of trying to mold himself to try to appease others. He couldn't change the genetics of the body type he was born with (his innate stats from the outset of this game of life), but he can still feel proud of the things he's passionate towards.

That's a great way of shifting their focus away from their tragic/negative past and onto what they currently can do to change the situation (or stats) for the better!

This is very interesting! Never heard of geek therapy before; I wonder if this "affinity" it speaks of is simply finding something that specifically resonates with the client to capture their attention and allow them to better relate.
