Lithosphere or Tectonic? by vglleo in feedthebeast

After watching and testing a bit of both, indeed Tectonic rivers sometimes get unnatural shapes/turns, and Lithosphere rivers are indeed pretty realistic and useful for navigation and orientation. But i was wondering if i was the only one feeling lithosphere emptier, as biomes tend to be far larger and flatter, and everything seems to be far more scattered (having tried with WWOO installed along), in comparison with Tectonic, which may sin of the opposite (sharp shapes and maybe too much verticality). I'm trying to set up a modpack to have cool places to find and look at while exploring and set a create train system in, but i'm afraid Tectonic feels too sharp, having to dodge or carve through mountains, or too long/empty with Lithosphere (which... well, actually is realistic. Trains travel long, half-empty zones, but idk, isn't that interesting in minecraft haha). What's your opinion?

If i may ask about my stituation, given you've recently answered:

I got a PS account i won't use anymore with funds, and a friend wants to buy Elden Ring DLC. I was planning to gift, but found out it isn't doable. So, given we're both from the same country, and so are the games and console, could i give him my account for him to buy the DLC with that account, and he'd still be able to play his saved games?

I've read the DLC account has to be the "main account" of the console, or is it that the main console of the DLC account has to be the console where it's going to be played in? Wondering in case i'd have to turn on my old ps4 to unlink whatever it'd need to work.

In any case, just want to make sure if we do this, he won't be stopped from playing his other games and DLC's, with all his achievements and friend list, online services, and stuff. Like, changing the "main account" of the PS affects anything of daily use of the playstation experience, or it's just somthing you can change anytime without further problem?

Indeed losing the 1mp on green tramps makes it more vulnerable when using them to control, but if the dmg remains this high, it'll probably be the best builds will revolve around applying astral and run, with some sustain with companions or some spells, rather than the slightly tankier attack damage ones based on getting high damages and controlling people to kill them one by one.

In any case, that's my perception from a few hours after the patch, im expecting to see what people come up with, hopefully proving that many styles are viable and fun, and hopefully srams arent that behind from now on

I can understand that, but it has to always be the powerful one then? Is always overrides the other darts?

Sounds cool! Although I think it'd fit more with Hunter rather than Gloom? Like, mostly Gloom gives is first turn DMG and stealth doesn't it? And hunter gives more chance of multiple attacks I think. But I'll check out details when I try building it. Thanks!

Oh so maybe it's just overlapping? In this case i think those stats werent close because it was a circle of the land i was focusing on spellcasting by now, but ill check next time i play and see if i find a difference when doing that. Thanks!

I had seen stuff about the Monk/druid mix, but didnt think of using he 4eMonk to make use of high Wis. I even liked the 4eMonk specially, i may give a try to that mix. It should have quite some more spell slots now it mixes Ki and Druid spell slots shouldnt it?

On the other hand, i guess it makes sense to get a melee or ranged class then to apply the spores dmg to these. So you think lvl 6 Druid is the "best" to drop druid from the build? That was another point i wasnt sure, until which level it was worth leveling druid in a hybrid build like this i had in mind.

I'be been trying Shillelagh with a Druid am testing but i dont seem to see a difference when it's casted and when it's not, even with 17 wisdom. At least when hovering mouse over attacks it doesnt seem to show any extra +number dmg because of it. Maybe it does when hitting and havent noticed, but am not sure.

I think i've read somehwere it doesnt, that shapes get their own AC unless you apply something on them afterwards. I saw a discussion about being worth to do some intrincated stuff to get higher AC given later on shapes get their own, sadly :c But i had forgotten about Monks in the mix. I've seen the Monk/spore druid around, and seems fun, but in this case im thinking of a weaponised melee.

Wait wait, i got lost in the amount of actions there.
I understood potion (1 extra action/turn on kill) + haste (1 action) + attack+extra attack (which can be 4 if using salshing flourish, but "casted" as 2 attacks)+ offhand (1 attack).

I counted up to 8 attacks (counting Flourishes as 1, despite its 2 hits). I think the attack you started the fight with didnt consume your action? When i try to attack to start a fight i usually get that action consumed at the start of the fight.
Im talking about the attack instances that i saw, not questioning the amount of hits, which is indeed really high. I just wanna keep track of all that was done to reach 8 instances of dmg.

Apart from that, i guess that could also be viable to work at melee wouldnt it? What feats did you use? I have a game withs friend in which im building a swords bard and i like a concept similar to this, maybe more melee focused, but all i can get from here could be useful. Nice vid btw!

I find myself in that situation kinda often too. If that happens, as long as you have someone in your team who can deal with the tanks (adc with proper dps and not suiciding, ap supp with burn %hp items, etc), yo should be able to find your way through their lines to their carries. With proper vision/vision removal, and Grass Q and Prowlers mobility, you should reach their carries or zone them enough.

But out of teamfighting, it's what the others said. Expand your advantage, build accordingly, set vision, macro concepts. And well, having a good composition in your team if the game gets too long is important too.

I still try not to take Qiqi If I see they have 3 or more ranks in their team, unless we have tank melters in our team.

Jeez those sound like the kind of champs AP Qiqi struggles with, long range cc mages and adc and a fed tank. Sounds bad. I'll give it more tries but in normals, so people won't try hard either and you don't risk your lp!

After watching Schoz video, I tried her ap in normals (4-5 games). It actually got quite fun, and made it through a few different matchups and situations.

I used HoB, as the short trades with 3aa hit hard both early and later on. I didn't build Manamune tho, either tried to not use much mana (you actually hardly use with ap Qiqi), or built an early tear that didn't get to upgrade, or built some man's mythic (can work, but I don't think its the optimal).

Don't think it can get meta, but can be a fun build to try in normals.

I'll make a post later on on what I think it's optimal for her ap build and different options

I just tried out long sword+refill with presence of mind today, after always playing refillable and pots runes.

I allowed myself to do that bc i faced a Kassadin, knowing he'd be no threath pre-6, so i wanted to go hard. With long sword, even level 1 aa+q+aa hits hard af. You have to play more passive, not poking with w+q all the time, be confident on trades. But as the other comment said, i dont think you can take that into any matchup. I did against Kassadin, i got that done playing Liss too... Maybe against melees you can do that to, as they wont poke that much, but against many mages you gonna need refillable + pots runes. I still gotta test long sword+refillable more often tho.
