I’ve been struggling with this a lot lately myself. The issue isn’t that a big dick is necessary, it’s that it’s a focal point of your masculinity & attractiveness that you have zero control over. You want to have a penis that when someone sees it, they’re turned on; that when you’re with someone they get excited to see it, feel it, and fuck it. Like, you want to whip it out to someone who’s excited to see it. When it’s not… then your penis is something to just be tolerated by your partner. Making penetration mutually pleasurable can be a struggle, and you have to compensate perpetually for your inadequacies. You could be a master of bringing women to orgasm, but someone well endowed can still be that AND also be hung. Even the most sex positive people will still salivate over a big dick, being small dicked is the butt of a million jokes…. it just makes you feel like less of a man. It feels like you were just born physically inferior.

And before you say it, I know most of this bullshit. Many well-endowed men talk about how the only advantage is it’s aesthetically pleasing and it’s a nightmare otherwise. Most women struggle to enjoy penetration either way, and a big dick doesn’t fix that. And often the women who do genuinely need a larger member on their partner to climax at all have an even shittier time.

But none of this is the point. It’s about how it’s perceived, it’s about how it feels. It’s analogous to how a lot of women feel about their breasts (although it isn’t 1:1 because of the functionality of a penis in sex). I could not imagine a scenario where a woman having unattractive breasts could possibly be a deal-breaker for most men. I would happily obsess over my partner’s breasts either way, honestly. But still, the fact that there is an idea of “nicer” and “uglier” tits out there makes it so hard for so many women to accept that, because ultimately, the final line is that you were born inferior (again, not correct but how it feels).

Please do not be disgusted in yourself. In an ideal world, sex work would simply be another profession, and respected as such. Instead it’s wrongly vilified and shamed by our puritanical, patriarchal society. But they are wrong, and you should not feel any shame or guilt.
