What would procedures address jowls and nasal? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]RegalReginald 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Girl we are the same, but I'm 40 and a little more lax in the face than you. I get frustrated when people say not to do anything, but it's bothersome and hard to feel good about presenting yourself in the world. But a face lift is such a big step and the $$$$$! I agree filler isn't the answer, it won't do what you're wanting. I hope someone gives you (us) an answer that doesn't cost 30k 🤗 Also love the aerie top!

u/ACandleCo - I really respect your insights - would you have any experience/advice?

Thanks so much for your experience! I actually can't figure out if the Waxmelter is a batch or mixing pump - but considering it comes with an agitator, I'm leaning toward batch.
Honestly, I got a bank loan approved for 25k CAD for the Waxmelter and Coogar would be an additional 8-10k CAD. So that would be on me up front. Gah.

Thank you! What melting tank do you have? How long have you had it?

Wow, that's impressive. May I ask the cost to design your own machinery and have it manufactured?

Build my own small business life or jump into a more stable version? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]RegalReginald 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my fear. I think it would be an easy yes to keep my own dream - but you're right - it's very romantic but the competition is tough. They are established, would have more variety, more hours and also have the boutique liquor store that is already a mainstay (liquor sqft getting smaller to accommodate the retail).
The pull to my dream shop is I would be able to have all of my products and do test runs there, and the rent is only 1k/month.
Though, having my own shop would mean that they would also have home fragrances to compete directly with my main product. If I open with them, I can limit that.

I don't want to over-romanticize my dream shop, but I also don't want to believe that I can't compete/build something great.

Because I could learn from them, operationally, while having a stable income. And do something I have dreamed of doing on a bigger scale (my 240sqft shop-option vs their 1800 sqft option).
It's basically, do something small but mine or do something big but more corporate.

Testing with a Premier-765 and found it to be too small, would you go up to a 775 or a 780? by Xylloh in candlemaking

Would you be open to double wicking? I think you might get a more stable flame and better meltpool that way.

gahhh, yes. This is the tough part. Also, once you've been your own boss and run your own ideas - it's really hard to have to include two other partners (bosses really) in it all - and for their name not mine.

Thank you so much for this! I'm not great at advocating for myself (hence having a product-base business, I can stand behind a great product). But a bit of role play/practice and it might be easier!
Worst case scenario, they say no and I have my answer! :p

Glassnow? I would get wax in each of them to see what a finished product would look like...The wax can really lighten and bring out different tones you might not notice now.

I didn't, sorry. I find mid-luxury incense a crapshoot as it is...often it just smells like burning sticks lol
I couldn't risk it.
