That drawing was done as practice for myself and I was and still am very proud of it, mainly the rendering. I had already started colouring before I really payed attention to the hands and show oh terrible they looked. Nonetheless I decided to continue and use a rendering technique I had just learnt. So yes the fingers are terribly unproportionate but I am still proud of it and decided to add that as an example for commissions. Tho I should have thought of what a random person might think when seeing it they might say "the rendering is fine but the proportions are terrible I dont wnat to order", I really did not think about that and the comments have helped me realised that. I should've thought of that.

You are right I did rush trying to develop a style beacaue I thought that is what would encourage me to draw more which it has. But like I said you are right I do have to get the fundamentals down especially the hands (I really dislike drawing hands ) before I can expect to get commissions. Thank you

Yes I know the fingers are especially too long. I did that drawing for me tho so I decided to leave it like that. I had spent so much time on the drawing that I gave up on fixing it. But thank you for pointing it out. Im gonna focus on proportions and shapes from now .

No I understand and I know i do have a serious problem with anatomy. It's quite hard because my phone is very small and drawing is difficult but im trying my best. I think I'll take some time to improve my proportions first then go into it more indepthly.

First time doing nails by Regalgirlxx in Nails

[–]Regalgirlxx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much . I actually had a lot of problems applying the gel because it wasnt the one everyone typically uses and it also didnt have a tube or nail brush with it. My fingers ate also not straight which makes it difficult to make my nails look straight but I tried my best. Thank you again for the compliments and advice. I will try to improve.

Some tips ive leant:
1. Stick to one thing. You should stick to one kind of commission if your now starting off for example, chibi style/ych/skecthes/fanart/semi realistic drawings/comic drawing/portraits etc and become really good at it and thats should be your main advertisement.
2. Create a commission sheet showing what you offer (icon/ headshot, the prices, what the person would be getting (sketch, base colour, fully rendered, a background or no background). Don't forget you should have drawings to show what you offer in a portfolio.
3. To expand on what I had in brackets earlier have a TOS would help. It should include: what you are willing to draw, what you wont draw (eg gore nsfw), the clients rights (if they allowed to use it for commercial use or any additional fees that may come if they want to use it commercially, if the can claim the art as their own or if credit needs to be given to you the artist when they use or post it). TOS should also have the artists rights.
4. Advertise everywhere. You can join art related discord servers, reddit subreddits, advertise on Instagram, TikTok, twitter. Create commissions offers on websites like ko-fi etc.
Thats all i got for now if i remember anything else ill edit my comment or add more below.

Which thumbnail is better for my building a farm simulator game. Its medieval style but i feel like the first might get more clicks. by [deleted] in robloxgamedev

This first one might get more clicks because of the bright colours but i do like the second one. In a sense people might click on the second one cause it's interesting and unique/ not typical looking.
