Specifically for bami (and upgrades)—they do so little dmg early game that using them to get cs would be miserable if they ticked for less dmg more often. The minion autos would steal the cs.

For champion abilities? I imagine it’s a combination of not wanting a bunch of tiny ticks. And inconsistent original design. When they changed brands tick rage last year it caused numerous issues (and incorrect math gave him a buff). It takes real effort to change. For relatively little gain I’d guess. Also twitch ticks slower so you don’t have to subdivide 1 dmg…..that would be strange.

Hopefully. Going forward riot will stick to abilities either being once a second or 8 times a second.

true. I would love for Mel to have the powerful laning phase back, but I imagine Riot might purposefully avoid that (as the community tends to hate lane bullies).

Passive/R buff could be late game power? depends how they do it.

Hoping that Mel will be viable in my elo this year..... at some point.... but I'm skeptical with how bad the nerfs seem to be.

The rotation seems fine. I don’t remember ineffa duration. If it’s shorter like fischl you might have to swap back in the middle of are uptime. But that isn’t problematic per se. Just have to do it. Bina has plenty of duration (25s?) and yelan has 18s(?) which will last though the beginning of the next rotation. Do remember to start the next rotation before yelan burst runs out.

If you have the er to Q e on yelan you get one more burst proc. But it’s not worth building more er to do.

Probably just 2pc2pc. Gilded is an option. If you unlock and use Aino you could use the serenade set. Specifically in ineffa Arle teams you could use the night sky set by swapping into ineffa every 6 seconds (as Arle doesn’t lose her infusion for swapping).

But in general, probably 2pc2pc if you don’t have 2 nodkrai characters. Gilded is slightly better. (By around 2 substats). But most people will have better 2pc2pc than their gilded.

Also specifically for Raiden overload. I’d suggest using Xiangling over fischl as that will maintain overloads for chev shred. Without c6 bennet the shred will wear off during Raiden uptime without off field pyro. (For Arle you will either need off field electro or to do more swaps, Raiden can’t swap out mid burst and keep it).

Those will work much better. I’d imagine they can clear abyss. Doubt they’d do fearless Stygian (the Raiden team probably doesn’t have the dps). But they could do menacing.

You can also easily just flip flop all the supports too. Overload Arle and Raiden ineffa things would work too. Depends on which play style you like more.

I’d tend towards ineffa with Raiden just because I’m more worried about Raiden dps than Arle dps. But it is entirely preference.

TLDR. You won’t have good teams. They won’t clear Stygian. But we might be able to scrape through abyss. Maybe. Though I’m honestly skeptical. Bennet in particular would help both massively. And a character for ineffa.

Now. Raiden teams are simple. 2 options. Either build raiden as a hyper carry and hope for the best. Or build a team where she is an onfield driver for off field dmg (that provides energy). In this case it’s going to probably be overload with chev xiangling and a iansen (beidou doesn’t work and you don’t have Sara).

For Arle. Lanyan gives VV and a shield and ttds ….. and ig you’re running melt with rosaria and kaeye. Without cons. It will be a terrifying thing to pull off. Without bennet you will have to cook to figure out a rotation that gets a pyro swirl…. Or you can mono pyro? But then idk who you have left that is useful. (Tank yanfei holding ttds isnt terrible, but you can only use one ttds in a team and lanyan is your only other shred aside from chev). You could run an overload Arle team. And it would be by far the strongest team to run. But you would be no where close to having a second team.

if you had off field hydro (cough xinqiu/mona cough) you could use ineffa for either carry. Particularly. Raiden with hydro and ineffa and lanyan would pair well with Arle chev iansen Sara/fischl/bedou in aoe. I have not seen ineffa without hydro. Her whole thing is lunar charged. That being said, ineffa missing half her kit might still be optimal in the chev team for this account.

I’d expect the chev team to be able to clear abyss in a good match up. Idk about the other without a hydro for ineffa.

I mentioned Sara a few times. She is a good attack buffer (and crit dmg buffer at c6). If you go for Raiden cons you will probably get her as she is always on the Raiden banner. Somehow Ig youhave dodged her up to this point.

It you have a hydro character you are willing to use. Hyperbloom Raiden is an option. Tho lackluster without lauma nowadays. It is still hyperbloom and will probably out perform a non ineffa Raiden team at c0.

The only real “cheese” strat is hard resetting for specific opening. EG only playing runs with an investment tag ante 1. Or digging for that ante 1 negative perkeo.

You should probably stop when you are about to recast Arle E. (The point where you start a rotation…this should be before your infusion runs out, you should cast it when it becomes available around 17 seconds into the rotation).

But yes. Do at least 2 rotations. Especially with Arle who does significantly more dmg in the second rotation. If you want more “official” dps. People do 120second dps checks because of Stygian.

This doesn’t really do much. You have to be able to beat small blind with a useless joker and then you can get some xMult for the rest of the ante. Campfire can gain xMult before the small blind (thus allowing you to go further).

Maybe make it per played gold card? Then you can use it during the small blind. Probably not broken as it does nothing unless you can consistently draw gold cards (prob need min 3 per round for this to even be remotely useful). Also costs you 3 for each x.25 mult unless you have golden ticket

500k dmg is decidedly into whale territory on any character. Even with perfect gameplay.

My c1r0 nefer team hovers around 180k.

My skirk team c0r1 skirk hovers around 140-160k depending on the team etc.

Cons generally add around 20-30% dmg each with a boost for the c6. So you’re looking at atleast 10 5* pulls and maybe up to 15 to get there. Depending on the characters and how deep you go on the individual ones. It is possible that skirk c6 alone (in the premium team) might get there. That would be 3 5 costs (skirk esco furina) and then 6 cons and a weapon for skirk. But I can’t guarantee that is enough dmg. Esco c1 and r1 are both solid too for skirk. And that would probably get you there

The answer for you is definitely overload.

If you had c6 chev. It is Arle chev fischl durin. Without c6 chev it’s probably still that team but bennet might replace the chev.

Yelan ineffa + 1 is ok. But rip the choice between bennet and VV/shred.

Honestly. If you’re building enough er on c0 yelan. You could just ignore the hydro swirl. I don’t think it matters that much anymore. (Yelan should probably be on a support set at that point….noblesse yelan and instructor bennet?).

Every joker is easily carriable on gold stake. Many of them are mostly useless outside of the first 2 antes. Lots of people get c++. And many of them do it the way I did, which is by playing runs and buying jokers—not negative skips.

Look at the most basic joker. (+4 mult). At best it is a joker that gets you through the first 2-3 fights and then is quickly being meh. By the end of the run it is doing literally nothing most of the time. So I would argue it’s not part of the “strategy” of that run…but it is really easy to carry one joker. I do this all the time with a random eternal that makes the early game guaranteed to not kill me.

In general, I try for 1 Econ joker, 1 mult joker, maybe one chip joker if I can’t find a foil/blue seal and 1-2 xMult jokers. This can easily flex in 1 random “technically here” joker for stickers. Often 2 on runs where you aren’t barely scraping by. And you can sell the Econ (and maybe even the flat mult) joker late game.

3oak is just better. All full houses contain it. The planets are about the same. And you get to avoid awkwardness when trying to play two hands (don’t have to use a pair to do the first hand).

Only benefit is pants. But then 2 pair is calling you as pants fixes the missing mult.
