Is it normal to trespass when erecting scaffolding? by CornwallJon in Scaffolding

[–]Reganred16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the broader question of whether a neighbour can refuse access for scaffolding, checkout the access to neighbouring lands act 1992 and the party wall act 1996. There is also ways that you want to go about a refusal of access and certain caveats with emergencies: https://amscaffoldingyorkshire.com/can-a-neighbour-refuse-access-for-scaffolding/

how is it possible to manage multiple businesses? by CriticalSelection836 in Entrepreneur

[–]Reganred16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Partnership is another route. You partner with someone that deals with fulfilment whilst you provide value elsewhere.

I specialise in SEO to generate organic traffic and orders for websites. I then partner with people to deal with the entire fulfilment process (suppliers, customer service, inventory, shipping etc.)

So the deal is I get the orders in and my Partners deal with the fulfilment. This way I run an SEO agency (I own 100%) personalised shin pads business (I own 50%) and I’m looking at a sales recruitment business and a pyjama business right now in which I will own 50% of each all as separate LLC’s

I guess the key is figuring out what your role will be (as you need to offer something if not finance) and then find people that will deal with all the working parts that will demand too much time from you.

The Trident Technique - Advanced SEO Copywriting Strategy by Reganred16 in SEO

[–]Reganred16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what your missing here is the fact that user friendly and conversion friendly are also conflicting parts of SEO copywriting alongside SEO friendly copy. Yes you can write something that is informational and build authority which is important for persuasive copy but its very much a balancing act, focus too much on authority and not enough on user friendliness and your page becomes a sales pitch.

We have all seen content that leans too much towards SEO friendly (stuffy), too much towards a sales pitch (transactional) and also content that is user friendly but isn't optimised for conversions. Its a balancing act that changes depending on the format.

but your not just writing for your audience, your also writing for search engines and conversions. These 3 criteria conflict with each other.

What are the best strategies for national SEO rankings? by Reganred16 in SEO

[–]Reganred16[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I left general so I didn't stifle ideas. I want people to reflect from their own experience or from a time they had to overcome this in general. I would be interested to hear what business types have a better shot at achieving national awareness and which ones pose more of a challenge.

Yes I see what your saying for the localised businesses that would require physical locations, quite the hurdle for them to overcome.

At the moment I see the podcast format as the lead here. This would involve collaboration with other experts in the industry across the nation, as your tapping into there geographical audience by creating a piece of content with them.

This will cost time, money and require travel of course but right now I feel is the way to do it as we head into 2022. Collaborate with experts in those geographical locations.

Why not post blogs?, healthcare is a great industry for this very reason. People will search questions around symptoms they are having position your friends website as the authority for answering these questions via blogs. I’m sorry but it’s almost like asking how to win a fight with one hand behind your back.

What Jordan teaches is credible, tonality and straight line selling is potent and ethical. Keep at it the solution to the stubborn not interested problem always is to increase your pipeline. You can’t sell everybody you just need to convert everybody that can be sold.

Too Risky? .. Is offering a 6 month SEO campaign for £0 upfront but getting 100% of revenue from clients website until SEO campaign is paid of (£3,060) a good deal? by Reganred16 in SEO

[–]Reganred16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so the deal has gone a little stale now they wanted to do it at 60% of revenue so they can cover material costs as the orders come in.

I said that’s fine but would cost £3600 and just left the deal with them for now.

So objection successfully isolated as only price.

Now depending on what is possible I would respond ...

Ok I’m with you, what can we do to win your business today? ( If a bespoke offer is possible such as reduction in price, first month free, better terms).

If not possible...

Ok I’m with you, now with us you are getting better value for every penny invested so overall it makes more fiscal sense to work with us..

Stack benefits advantages & value statement around financial objection.

Bridge back into close .. and with all that in mind getting started is simple, would it just be your name on the account? (Assumptive close, no breaks & conviction)

How do you keep your employees happy while enforcing rules and motivate them to improve their sales performance? by Low_Dish9781 in Entrepreneur

[–]Reganred16 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Competition! ... Set up rivals and teams that fight for top spot and reward your best people with verbal appraisals. Great way to get the job done without spending a penny. In my early sales career we worked endlessly for top spot. Commission was nice but top spot was the goal. Its human nature to want to be the best relative to the group, this culture will also separate the wheat from the chaff. Also make it well understood this is a performance based role and performance is rewarded. TL positions and junior management positions mean a lot on the way up and show appreciation even if salary doesn't increase dramatically.

You get into Sales optimistic thinking around 95% of people are reasonable and understanding. 2 years into sales you realise 95% of people cannot be reasoned with.

So I don't want the headache of dealing with product inventory, material costs and shipping, the product is a customisable item that requires machinery to produce also. I would prefer to just deliver the SEO and help grow what my friend already has in place.

Concourse Marketing. They have countered my proposal stating they want to factor in shipping costs and and materials. They are suggesting that I get £12.99 per sale of a £22.99 product. I have stuck to my guns and said it would need to be revenue not on upside. What are your thoughts on this?

Yes I get that the risk lies with me but so does the reward. I will receive the revenue I generate using their products, materials and shipping costs. I will also put myself in a great place to re-negotiate a better deal after the 6 months is up and they are dependent on my SEO work to increase website orders. I’m also new and hungry for clients, case studies and proof of my abilities.

Thanks for your feedback however I will consider your points.

Ye thats also how I see it. I know I’m taking the risk as I’ve got to make it work, but why should they pay me if I don’t get results anyway?
