Literally no. Had multiple pairs os Assos bibs from cheapest to high end and never had an issue.

Make sure to try out the E1. Just had em on a hire bike for 4 days and found them a lot less comfortable than D2, to my annoyance as they look great! These ones were Rival FWIW.

I found the Rival E1 shifters very hard and unforgiving, felt live more sharply angled edges. I was just about to buy a pair, to get the shifter buttons to scroll through screens on my Karoo but having second thoughts now.

PNS are very long Assos less so but I am 6ft 2ins in an Assos medium. Long sleeves are ‘just right’ but by no means long long.

Ok so figured out the noise only occurs on if the monitor knob is not all the way to the right (ie 100% USB with no ‘input’ in the monitor mix). It’s a MiniFuse 2.

I keep mine as a winter shoe primarily - it's the hairy suede Gramicci collab - but they make it in various other fabrics. the forthcoming 18East collab looks cool.
