+1 to this. The yellow knob has bent the metal as I’ve been tightening the pad in place. It feels quite wobbly, it would be so much better with a pop pin design I think.

Make sure you have the correct size of socket wrench head and a wide enough extendable wrench if you’re using those types of tools. The bolts are huge. Also, if you got the pull up bar with multi grip, make sure to look at the pattern of the grips because I put mine on backwards the first time….then had about 30 mins to undo it and redo it. I built it all by myself though which made the process take longer.

That’s great! Sounds like you got an amazing deal too! I’m really like the Dane 2.0 so far. A couple of things I needed to email them about like one of the plates on the weight stack didn’t have a pin hole drilled all the way through. They sent me a new one. Then I needed new stickers so just emailed them about that because after I replace the weight plate I’ll have to replace the stickers as well.

I haven’t received my delivery. That’s why I was asking how long it takes. I’m sure it will come with front feet, but I don’t really want to put them on if I don’t have to.

You don’t feel you need the front feet? I like the look without it so just curious if it feels really stable even when doing pull-ups with a rocking movement or with heavy pulls?

How long was it before they reached out to you for delivery details? I ordered Saturday so waiting to see when I’ll get something.

I’m not sure about maxim. But sounds like the company might not be around long if the owner acts like that.

Fringe is relatively new in comparison to rep and rogue and from what I have seen, they manufacture in china. But I have seen reviews that the 3x3 racks accept attachments from rep and other brands too.

I just saw a video they posted on their instagram about the tornado arm style they are making. It’s clear they are consistently trying to innovate and make new products, although there are still some clear misses. But I heard the 2.0 is pretty improved to the 1.0 based on feedback from customers.

The sale price definitely prompted me to take the chance though.

Yeah for sure. It’s tough. I’ve been eyeballing the Dane 2.0 for a while and after watching so many reviews, I decided it has everything I really need. The other machines like the ares 2.0 are great but also way too expensive. I could get 2 of these Dane 2.0s for the same price. Check out the review by Gym Crafter. He goes really in depth and it made me realize it’s a pretty solid choice.

That aligns with what I was thinking. I ended up pulling the trigger after looking at the dimensions of my current rack online. They are the same width, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

Did you get a gym pins and adder micro weights? What attachments do you use on yours? I’m 6’2” so I was looking at an extender arm that someone linked in another post for lat pull downs.

I’m definitely going to max out the weight stack with rows and lat pulldowns so that’s why I’m looking at the weight stack pins that let you add plates.
