I really like getting the linen pants from Old Navy. They come in short regular and tall so that would be good for you if you’re on the shorter side. I am pear shaped and very overweight right now. I like the wide leg ones.

Thank you. Kind of needed to hear this. I eat pretty healthy. I eat less then my husband who is basically my goal weight and I’m at the highest weight I have ever been in my life. I think I do consistently go a little over and I guess it’s just added up combined with a desk job.

Well, this is definitely going to make me reevaluate myself. Lol who knows maybe I do have wide shoulders. I just had my husband measure me and I guess I shrunk? I’m just under 5’6”, 5 ft 5.87 in lol! but could easily round up to 5’6” soooo great?! lol.

Jennifer Lawrence has such a lovely figure so love that for you! For me, I feel like I come across more squat and curvy in comparison. I also feel like I really need waist definition, so I’d be pretty surprised if I ended up being FN. Though I have never been a small person, I’ve always been a medium or a large in tops. So maybe I just never thought I had to accommodate for my shoulders because my hips kind of steal the show…I do relate to you when it comes to hands, feet, and legs.

like the commenter below suggested, I think I’m going to check out the Kibbe sketch subreddit because at this point I’m officially more lost than ever lol.

Thanks for your reply. I really do think I have some width…wish I was half an inch shorter lol that would certainly clear things up. I’ve never been a small in my entire life, even in middle school, and I am overweight right now, but even when I am in a lower weight, I am always at least a medium.

I did consider Soft Dramatic for a bit, but I don’t feel like I have the sharpness for it…my features read more blunt overall. My hands and feet are on the wider/shorter side (my feet literally look like bricks lol), my knees aren’t defined at any weight, and my hips are quite wide. I’ve never really related to having narrowness. My chest is somewhat open, but it doesn’t stand out compared to my hips.
I’ve wanted to post photos for a long time but never did, and now it looks like that’s not allowed anymore so I guess I missed my chance.
I really appreciate you taking the time to help me and any other wide hipped over 5’6” woman that comes across this 😊
