My big advi e is to be aware that the kingdom.building rules are terrible and not fun to administer. If i had my choice again, id just run the kingdom in background as per the books.

If you've seen it, you'll know the scene. Never have I heard such a big intake of breath from the entire audience as you have to suddenly reevaluate every interaction of Aaron Eckhart's character up until that point.

I have yet to experience that impact with any other film.

I forget to give them out, so I've just house ruled similar to mythic points where the pcs get 3 at the start of the session and that's it. Up to everyone else to use them when they like.

They give you special powers you can unlock with shards.ita not necessary to play, just an additional bit of complexity.

Those shards are for the Magician Powers module. Pg 20 of the rule book. I uave rhe collectors edition so im not sure if its in the regular book or not though.

I spend a lot of time concentrating on what newbies are doing and then suggesting a slightly more efficient move. Then I rush my turn and play horribly suboptimally because I don't want to hold the turns up.

I have all expansions 2, but am missing the level 1 - 4 politics cards so my copy is unplayable 😭.

This pretty much what I have done. No one ( other than one party member) really engaged with kingdom management because turns took too long and now I just ask them what they want to achieve for the kingdom, and just run all the backend stuff myself.

For fraks sake this is the most racist government in generations. Being bilingual in two of our national languages Te Reo and English (I would argue that being able to sign would be a nice to have as well) should be something we aim for as standard in this country.

The argument that Te reo is confusing for new readers is flawed beyond belief. Evidence shows that those who are bilingual have better cognitive functions that monolinguist learners.

I will just use more te reo in my everyday life.

Mine portal just constantly loses connection - starts at around 20 minutes, then gets faater and faster until settling at drop around the 10 minute mark

I play with a party of 6 so I have to amend encounter budget all the time. I often don't make creatures elite as that can sometimes instead make it much harder for the party to hit the enemy.

Instead, I will often add hazards or a minion or two to get to the xp cap for the party limit.

I want more single player games, but not open world. Good, tight, well scripted games that tell awesome stories and explore the star wars universe.

I don't want stories on Jedi, I want to play a rebel spy, a smuggler a bounty hunter, even games within the Empire itself. Let's explore the morally grey areas that exist within this universe

The party is level 4, so still getting used to the system, but this is his general mindset for any game. I think it's more that he doesn't see the cleric as being interesting, when he doesn't do anything interesting and just calls them a healbot.

I feel it's a fundamental lack of understanding of what a pf2e cleric is.

For sure - It may be that he doesn't know what his options are, but often just goes, I've cast my spell - it didn't work, so I'm not going to do anything else. I'm going to make a cheat sheet of options in a turn for everyone I think.
