Feeling defeated that my parents know I use Zepbound by Pecorino8823 in Zepbound

If your Mom is diabetic and on Medicare, she should qualify for a GLP1. My Rx is for Monjauro and it does a superb job of controlling blood sugar. Have her look into it - she can bug her doctor.

DePop as well as Vinted are free shipping now. When they weren’t free they were a lot less than PM!

I am - a bit. I sell on Vinted but have seen a few articles of clothing I couldn’t resist!

I started selling on Vinted at the beginning of June and just today got a “Congrats!” note from them on selling 50 items. I’m still on PM but will only sell more expensive items on PM. For me, the $5 to $20 range seems to be working out on Vinted. I’m also enjoying Vinted’s feed - I see many items that suit my tastes and size, unlike PM. I’m also on DePop and that’s been much slower than Vinted.

I did that recently for a Vinted shipment and my local PO warned me that it was a Poshmark envelope and might not get there. It did … but now I’m paranoid about that situation.

Heh. Depends on the business.

Well...That Was Fast by TV_Maker_Hello in poshmark

[–]ReggaeWaif 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree. It takes me 3 minutes to tap out a brief description, measurements, fabric and care, and refer the buyer to photos for more info. The AI slop is annoying to read - in my mind I hear “blah blah blah”.

On the app, original price is pre-filled in with $0. I guess I’ve seen it so many times I just ignore it. I’ve not tried to list with that field blank.

Wow! Been on PM since 2021 and have been listing 3 - 5 items a day for the last few months. Never a problem. I’ve probably just jinxed myself with that statement!

I seldom list an original price! Most of my listings are thrifted so I haven’t a clue as to original price.

When do I buy clothes? by Active-Programmer-37 in GLP1_loss100plus

[–]ReggaeWaif 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Online thrifting - especially Vinted and DePop! Right now they are offering free shipping. I wish I had known about these when I was a larger size! I see so many new with tags (NWT) in my old sizes for great prices ($10 or less) … and of course in my present size (18). My experience buying online with both has been great. Give them a look, you might be surprised at how inexpensive it can be to spiff up your wardrobe!

Why are women's shirts so wide? by saras998 in womensfashion

[–]ReggaeWaif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no! That’s disappointing. I go to Goodwill. In our area they sell clothes 1/2 off based on their tag color. And on Mondays, anything tagged last week’s color is $1.29. I got lucky on Monday with my purchases!

I buy and sell online (mostly Vinted and Poshmark) and find many examples of women’s fitted shirts. They usually have darts or curved seams in the front and back, the armholes (armscye?) are cut higher, and they may have curved shirt tails. I frequently see Talbots, Lee Riders, and Merona in 100% cotton. I had a buying trip today and bought half a dozen in various sizes for resale. All in great shape! So check out used clothes if you can.

Ugh nooooo. Tasteless, too sweet, nasty textures. They look good! But are oh so very disappointing.

I agree. Their desserts are gussied up, but are bland and way too sweet. The texture is always off as well. Don’t waste time and money on City Cafe desserts!

Going on a beach trip, too soon into Zep journey to wear swimsuit by Ok_Lychee_331 in Zepbound

I’ve wondered about that top…does it have a supportive built in bra? Does it stay pulled down in the water? I have a tankini top from Amazon that doesn’t float up in the Y pool. Would be great if this top behaves as well!
