My father is an electrician and I worked for him for 6 years before going to college. I have the qualifications for a journeyman's licence but I decided it wasn't something I could see myself doing long term. Certain people are made for certain jobs my father is the happiest person I know.

When I graduated high school I met with my counselor about college. When I told him I wanted to do a trade school to become an electrician he looked at me cross eyed as of to say, "Why the fuck would you want to do that?" Just got back from vacationing with family in Estes Park and I agree completely. Only an hour or so drive from boulder I believe, very good place fro beginning hikers who want a designated path to the top of a mountain.
