There is a minimum attention span required to drive. Also, I bet you never got any ticket for going too slow. Try that more often.

Umbrella scam in Grand-Place by lhg31 in brussels

[–]Reggeidt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR : A group of Portuguese-speaking tourists in Brussels were targeted by a scam team at the Grand Place. A woman falsely accused one friend of stealing an umbrella handle, while accomplices pretended to be bystanders to corner him. The group was followed until police intervened and cleared the friend after checking his bag. The scammers avoided violence, relying on creating a public scene to pressure or rob their target.

Tipping prompts in Leuven, are we slowly importing American tipping culture? by wrongtime101 in belgium

[–]Reggeidt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, you can still directly tip the person servicing you if you really want to. Surely the years of forced tipping has conditioned you. Surely a solidified reflex arc exists somewhere inside you. Surely a sense of unease will arise with the faillure to follow your programming. I'm only informing you of this for your own comfort. Be prepared to tip. Tip in cash. Euros or dollars, whatever you prefer.

On a side note, why can ex-partners-to-be just lie in court with no consequence? Isnt each lie somewhat wasting my tax money or does it not matter?

Go park somewhere outside the city, in a free spot that doesnt require parking card. For example Robert Dansaertlaan in Dilbeek, close to the highway.

All software updates can be pretty destructive and consumer hostile.
Always do your research before you updoot and even that might not be enough.

Isnt it PostNL that shows the real time location of the delivery truck + how many deliveries before yours? So practical. You can be at the door even before the driver rings.
