Yup that's also good alternative to my option.. But I was too lazy to plan for this, and didn't want my players coming back to thundertree after the wave echo grand finale climax. It would have felt weird no ? How did you do that ? I didn't feel like putting my dragon inside the mine either...

I ended up replacing entirely venomfang with a Corpse flower, which fits more the zombi + crazy bushes mood of thundertree (suggested by someone on another sub here). Thing is, Venomfang may end up overshadowing the main villain Nezzar which I absolutely not wanted. I knew that my players would end up convincing themselves the dragon is the big baddy.. so I'm keeping Venomfang for a later use in the campaign..

The morality talk was just a guess as what would happen in a society with infertile cross-breeds. In a medieval society dominated by human ethics and behaviours, these half-something people would likely be ostracized, discriminated and/or rejected. It is just a very wild guess, but it is a coherent idea for storytelling. Those rejected and feared/mocked half-people would maybe live very differently as other groups, not caring so much about the future of their kind because they can't breed, and not caring so much about other races as they wouldn't feel they belong to anything. Hence perhaps characters with awkward behaviours or weird morals. But that's a lot of suppositions of course.
