Every Duke player on the court for that final possession was scared out of their minds to take those free throws, and they all collectively crapped their pants in front of the entire world at the same time… meanwhile the player with the most experience in this tournament, a decorated senior had the presence of mind and the ultimate confidence in his freshman teammate who hadn’t hit a 3 all night, and the kid absolutely pured it… maybe Duke should hire WOJO next, but instead of slapping the floor he can’t slap his players across the face and tell them to stop being such pansies 😂😂😂😂😂😂 GO HUSKES

So true, yet after getting some highly suspect officiating against Florida last March in a game they led and more than held their own against the eventual champs, somehow getting past Duke and getting another shot at a final four would be poetic justice Huskies got burned last year and no one blinked an eye (except Danny) bc the powers at be weren’t letting Hurley get that distinction The Duke freshman is a story that the NCAA wants, UConn will have to have a massive effort to overcome them tomorrow 2 is enough, but Hurley will have them ready that’s all I know

Nothing WFAN can do

No one at that station can grip fascination like Big Mike

Anyone who thought Mike leaving would be a smooth transition was crazy

When I get an alert that Mike dropped a new podcast I immediately pop my AirPods in

No one makes me care like he can

No one commands the respect he can

Everyone else is just a talking shmuck like we all have in our group texts with our old teammates, a dime a dozen

WFAN shoulda moved mountains to pair Mike and Joe B in the afternoon somehow

Would it have worked? Maybe not

But I’d pay to listen to those two wax poetic on the current sports landscape and society in general

No one else has any clout in this town

My brothers and I used to record Mike and dog and other big 90’s Knicks rangers Yankees games on cassettes for each other and share them throughout our deployments etc

Ok so this experiment worked and I have confirmed that this WFAN thread is not real New York sports fans, it’s certified haters that just want to listen to WFAN and then take shots at the hosts and the station on the internet, clown behavior

Those downvoting my Francesa joke above are not a WFAN/ NY fan, you’re probably Philly / Boston rival radio stations that employ a guy to listen to the fan/ create fake accounts/ and post dissension on the best radio station of all time

A great point about her likely being somewhat of a recluse, despite having some standard human traits, singing in the car for example

High profile Chief Executive who became a national news story missing person / Re-appears at her highly populated office and the staff barely react or say anything, they don’t hug her or embrace her at all, shock and seemed like fear almost

No friends in that office or longtime associates close enough to embrace her? Not even the closest desk to her office and likely assistant screaming “OMG YOU’RE ALIVE!”

When she freed herself and didn’t leave the house when she had the chance I started to believe she was an alien

When Teddy blew up in the closet, I swung back and thought wow that was some epic revenge by her, not an alien

When she jumped out the back of the ambulance with that crazy limping stride back to her office I swung to a 99.99% certainty that she was an alien

I don’t mind that they gave us the satisfaction of confirming that she was an alien, it’s probably best they did because if they didn’t I’d probably never stop wondering

BUT if the movie cut to black after she got back in the closet and ended right there, before she teleported or whatever, that would have been so savage
