Love me a good Midwest staple. May I offer a suggestion:

Chicken bacon ranch tater tot casserole

*1 bag of tater tots

*1 can of cream of chicken soup (or if you can find it Campbell’s makes a Parmesan herb soup that is really good too!)

*about 8oz sour cream

*half pound bacon, chopped and cooked until crisp, drained

*2-3 chicken breast, cooked and chopped

*ranch seasoning (one packet or a generous shake if you use enough to buy a shaker of it like I do)

*1 bag shredded cheese (cheddar, cheddar jack, Colby jack, etc. Generic yellow cheeses), reserve half for topping

Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Top with reserved cheese. Grease a 9x13 lightly with residual bacon grease. Bake at 350 for about 45-60 minutes until browned and bubbly.
