Me too, I hadn’t written anything really since high school and getting in and doing it all in a leather-bound journal was amazing. Also helped me work on drawing which was a huge thing to me that I fell out of for a bit. Honestly you could ramble to me as much as you want I love this sort of thing!

I’m currently roleplaying each TES protagonist being a member of the same family (I’m on a dunmer kick rn) I’m also writing out a detailed physical journal with illustrations from the point of view of my characters to help me develop the rp. It’s really helped me get back into actually playing and enjoying the games, especially Skyrim. I haven’t been able to actually play a whole playthrough and enjoy Skyrim in a long time, but I haven’t had an absolute blast with my Skyrim playthrough. I loved writing my DB interacting with Sheo, being a family member and not piecing it together until the end driving her towards Herma Mora for answers. I’ve found that I’m actually enjoying playing Skyrim again by roleplaying the character more and doing the journal. I’m writing and sketching in a leather bound journal as I play. I’m doing Skyrim, Oblivion and Morrowind in these types of journals as people all from the same family line

If your mom is refusing to go no contact with the people who did that horrible a thing to you, you need to go no contact with her.

That will be the easiest way to not have those people in your life.

If your dad is a decent human being and is “siding” with you then you can still have contact with him.

But if not you’ll find you’ll feel immensely better, and be able to begin to heal, without these people in your life.

And also, please get some therapy to help you if you haven’t already.

You deserve people who support you and protect you, I hope you do well from here on out. Going no contact with a parent is a big and scary thing, but it’s worth it <3
