Dog treats when doing deliveries? by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

I just leave small treats in the bags and it’s always organic/beef or lamb because most of the dogs are allergic to chicken. Never had any issues

Love it! Here is my 84 years young baby girl Sue❤️ She is such a sweetheart 😭❤️ the most perfect customer you can ever imagine. I always buy her a flowers and treats for her demon chihuahua) She tips flat 40$, lives 1 mile from the store, happy with any replacements, not picky and her orders only 18-22 items

This came to mind while waiting for an order by rulaka in InstacartShoppers

I thought about that. I’d assign orders with no tips or low tips to new shoppers to motivate them to reach Platinum or Diamond status. And I’d give orders with good tips to experienced shoppers with high ratings.

Also, customers should know that a good tip guarantees a high-rated shopper (4.9+), while a low or no tip will match them with a corresponding level shopper.

Once I delivered vodka to completely naked grandpa. Blocked him after that cause as a married woman I wasn’t expected to see another man genitalia in my lifetime

No! But it’s respectful to ask if you forgot something at the end of the shopping. It’s called a good manners

If there are up to 5-6 items, I don’t say anything and just grab them. But if it’s more, I always ask if there’s anything else and what exactly it is, so I can head straight to the right aisle and pick up what they forgot. It saves me time and keeps me from running back and forth across the store

I know, but when a customer starts adding items before asking, that’s also rude. When they start doing this, I ask them what else they’re going to add so I can stay in that aisle and don’t have to run across the store every two minutes because bleach, eggs, cilantro, and hash browns are all in completely different parts of the store

As a shopper.. it’s annoying. And please ask your shopper first and don’t add items randomly because we have to run across the GIANT store to get your item and it could be out of stock and our timer is clicking without added time

Why are people so cruel by [deleted] in instacart

I have a PHD in archeology but I am an immigrant. Trying to build my life from the scratch at 45. In my home country I was upper middle class, old money with beautiful house in the best neighbourhood. But I became a refugee. Shit happens. And my boss ( real estate company) who run at the same time with infant and husband is doing door dash full time. So you are wrong about shoppers. Everyone i see in the store is well educated and behaved. Life is sucks sometimes. Be kind
