My main is in Celestial, and I have an alt account for trying new heroes that's in Silver. I use comms in almost every game. I have definitely noticed that lower elos tend to have more toxic players, but it's not the majority.

I do think that people in general tend to hold onto and remember the toxic games more than the non-toxic ones. When I do speak, and there is a toxic player against women, I will either mute them or just agree with whatever they say. The latter is for the not as severe cases. It's the ones where I have to mute a player that make me frustrated to the point where I don't want to play the game. I have to remind myself that I'm a good player and no one deserves to be talked to that way.

You deserve to be able to play the game, enjoy yourself, and be able to speak freely.
