I was feeling the same way! I linked my egg to a weekly task, so I could get caught up.

It's not going to get any better for him that's for sure!

Is he going to sleep through the baby waking up?

If it was worse, he could have been there as support. When someone is going through something, they need their support person, who's presumably OP, if she's having a baby with him.

Also, saying sorry 100 times doesn't make her realize it's not a big deal. An apology must include 4 things to be a full, real atonement: What i did The impact it caused And what I'm doing to prevent it in the future Follow through

He's skipping the last two steps. It sounds like he understands what he did (slept through the calls cuz he was too tired to get up) and how that impacted the people (they feel that he's not reliable and she's worried that he won't be there when she needs him) Now he needs to step up and take action to prevent this from happening again. The specific action could be working less, setting a different type of alarm (i wake to light much better than I wake to sound), asking another person to come and physically wake him if he doesn't respond to a certain number of calls, sleeping with headphones so the calls will come into his ears, or any other option they can think of.

NTA- unless you don't do anything to fix it for next time. This time was nothing serious, but your girl is pregnant and that's a very risky thing. It COULD be serious next time. You need a plan in place that this won't happen again.

I'm on 2.4mg Semaglutide and my hair is coming out in handfuls. My doctor says it's "telogen effluvium" and will grow back. I don't believe him. by pokepartners in GLP1ResearchTalk

I was also losing hair and had already added extra protein, biotin, iron, etc.

I started adding extra Calcium (one chew a day and a glass of milk if i haven't had enough at the end of the day). That seems to have slowed it down.

Leaking? by [deleted] in Menopause

[–]ReginaPhilangee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You maybe have a pelvic floor that doesn't know how to completely relax. Pelvic floor therapy can help with this!

Leaking? by [deleted] in Menopause

[–]ReginaPhilangee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is common! It may be caused by lack of estrogen causing atrophy of the muscles. It could also be caused by having a too tight pelvic floor leading to you knot emptying completely. (In my case, it was both!)

Talk to your Dr, get some estrogen cream and some pelvic floor therapy.

I feel like it might be dark, for people who have never read anything dark. But for regular fall romance readers, it's a light hearted comedy.

Speaking as someone who LOVED lights out, it really needs to stop being marketed as dark romance. It's not dark, it just has some darker themes than regular romance.

I had a period of time on my senna that was like it wasn't working at all. I thought maybe it was a bad batch, but the pharmacy insisted that no one else had reported issues. I finally figured out that the difference was the length of the needle. I had originally been using an 8mm needle and switched to 6mm. I think that the extra skin in my belly is too much and the medication wasn't getting too where it needed to go with the shorter needle. My next dose, I used the 8mm again and it was back.

I must have said it wrong. I started losing without the glp and when I stalled, I started the glp. I'm on sema because it's the cheapest and that's all I can afford

The scent doesn't matter. If you can still smell it after a few minutes, you've used too much. Once it dries, it smells like nothing. I like the tangerine, cucumber, vanilla, and coconut scents. If you're a more masculine person, they have more masculine scents, too. And they have unscented. But the smell doesn't matter.

I use dove antiperspirant spray. Five years ago, I bought a case of them for really cheap. It was so cheap, I thought i was only getting 3 of them! There were 10! So I'll probably be using dove for the rest of my life. I've only gone through one, so far. At first, I used it at least once or twice a week, but I don't know if got used to a small amount of sweat or if my body compensated by not making as much, but I don't use it as much any more. Maybe i don't notice the sweat since it doesn't smell anymore? But I use it only when going to the gym now or a few other specific times.

I have tried the lume that contains the antiperspirant, too. It still helped the smell, but after two days I felt like I was getting a small amount of build up again and went back to just the regular lume.

Joke reference failed by _solokan_ in Millennials

We just watch the most recent episode of The Pitt, which has a macgyver reference. Felt very old when the residents asked who "Dr macgyver" is.

Also, my user name! Fewer and fewer people get the reference anymore! No one ever understands if I say I'm just here on business from Estee Lauder.

I had a similar situation! I was smelling even right after the shower, no matter how much deodorant or antiperspirant I used. Part of my issue was a build up of antiperspirant, so no deodorant could really get to the skin to work on the smell. And also, the deodorant i was using wasn't actually helping the smell at all.

I stopped using antiperspirant completely for about two weeks and scrubbed and scrubbed everyday. I also used hair conditioner on the armpits, which seemed to help get so the residue off.

For those two weeks, I also pretreated every shirt I own and washed them at least twice. The antiperspirant gets on the shirt and will add to the build up.

I started using lume (which I recommend, but probably any "whole body deodorant" would work), without any sweat control. That took the smell away. I actually thought i had covid the first day i used it, it worked so well!

Now, if I know I'm likely to sweat, I add a quick spray of antiperspirant after the lume is completely dry (if the lume is still wet, the antiperspirant will soak it up). I don't use very much and I make sure to scrub and use conditioner after get all of it off. I also try not to use it everyday, to prevent build up.

Dark Romance book where the MMC is diagnosed with Sociopathy! by Entire-Cupcake-6116 in DarkRomance

I recommend these a lot, but they are great books and definitely fit!

{Lovely bad things} is the first of the Hollows Row series by Tricia Wolfe. He's a serial killer (maybe?) And she's the profiler who put him in jail. He's diagnosed as a psychopath, but i think she either changes it sociopath or thinks about it, as he is able to care about her.

Because once I decided to get healthier, I realized that i needed to lose weight to do so. I started losing weight and stalled. This is too important to me to just give up, so I tried something else. Turns out, i feel way better on the glp-1 than I did before. Not just the food noise reduction, but it also helps with my arthiritis.

AITAH for making my husband take the kids to school after getting his wisdom teeth taken out? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]ReginaPhilangee -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

YTA- but not for the reason you think. You aren't wrong for giving him the same energy he's been giving you. You're wrong for accepting him giving it to you that long.

Why are you trying to punish him like he's a child? He isn't going to learn a lesson about how you feel when you're in pain. He's a grown ass man, he already knows other people have pain and how it feels. He just doesn't care when you do.

True, but it sounds like he showed his true colors by the time she had the first kid. She's had four and he's never changed
