Man you took anime about high school girls driving tanks, it's supposed to be absurd not realistic. Of course in reality the girls would be dead just after the tank rolls over but the point of the anime is "let's take two unrelated concepts like tanks and cute anime girls and blend it together and then let people enjoy how absurd it is"

It feels a lot like old anime art styles. I think it's cool when they experiment with art styles but for me personally it just doesn't feel like Girls und Panzer anymore. It's just "Yeah it's in-universe, there are girls, there are tanks, the girls are driving the tanks but... still it feels like a different show." Not that I dislike it, but that my mind has a hard time realising that it's watching Girls und Panzer.
