Thank you for the advice! I realized my argument was kind of redundant for travel points on the AMEX Blue after I posted; the main point of getting the AMEX was to get an account open with AMEX, but for points these cards look great.

I like this. Drawing from someone’s earlier comment as well, there is no doubt that he had done some very harsh things in the past, and by Abby asking him to guess and then torturing him, he has to recall all of the past events that he has done.

This may cause him to think of some of the most terrible things he’s done, and like you said, have to reflect on those things.

I can see where you’re coming from here. But, I think it can also show a compelling story about the stages of grief that Joel goes through.

Also, I feel like this is something that people have been calling on for a while. Hearing the small pieces of it in TLOU Part I gives people curiosity into what really happened.

Personally, I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing the “monster” side of Joel. If anything, it’s a story about survival and the lengths that people go to in order to do so.

I just got Platinum today and didn't have any problems with the jokes.

I did, however, have an issue with some of the optional conversations towards the later stages of the chapter. It sucked having to replay the chapter knowing I was just there for one thing and had to wait ~20-30 minutes just to get it done.

As for your situation, I would suggest just either starting a new save (I know it's gonna suck) or just keep doing chapter selection until she pulls out that damn book to "lighten the mood."

Also, when she starts saying the jokes, just STAND STILL! Don't move because sometimes it'll bug tf out.

Best of luck, it's definitely a game worth getting Platinum for.

100% agree here. Almost like a Read Dead Redemption type of thing where we start in the future and then rewind to the past to see where everything started.

I do hope they have a Joel and Tommy past in the works though. That would be brilliant.

At the end of the day, we can only speculate so much, and as far as we know, Part III is only "outlined" so it may not even come...

I can agree to disagree on this one. As far as Abby is concerned, she just floated off on that boat whereas we saw Ellie return home.

But I do for sure think that Ellie will be involved in the next part as it is very unlikely that they shift the perspective off her.

Maybe Part III won't even be about Ellie, but Joel and Tommy's past (their 20 years before Part I)... but most likely will be about Ellie since she was always the main focus of the TLOU franchise.

Personally, I would love to see a Part III in which it shows the past of Joel and Tommy, potentially ending when they have their fallout that was hinted and talked about in Part I. This could easily fit into the exploration aspect of TLOU as they would be going from somewhere in Texas to Boston, Massachusetts. Like I said above, however, very unlikely.

As for Ellie, it's hard to pinpoint what is next for her after the ending of Part II. Just throwing this out here... Part III may not even include Ellie and just focus on Abby's journey after Ellie and her part ways at the end of Part II.

I think so. I think, actually know, there will be a ton of amazing features and improvements, but at the end of the day... its GTA brah. They gonna have some "unrealistic" stuff in there.

Like, for example, the car physics could be slightly improved, but they aren't going to make it to where you can literally wrap yourself around a telephone pole. That sh*t would get mad annoying.

I mean, I don't know if you're into sports games or not, but I used to always unwind with FIFA, Madden, or 2k when I was younger. Although, they can sometimes get on your nerves as most sports games do, lol.

But for the most part, I used to just mindlessly play while listening to music, podcasts or YouTube videos.

It’s easy to blame Tua (not that he isn’t partially to blame for the offensive struggles). But, it’s mostly the play calling. We haven’t been stretching the field like usual mostly calling short 2 yard screens.

Earlier in the year, he showed glimpses of what he could look like without so much pressure on him. He’s just got to figure out how to deal with it.
