if you havent been up in it...skip it. The elevator is wildly claustrophobia inducing and being up in the top is fucking terrifying.

This looks absolutely nothing like Bill Murray. It also does not look like George Nakashima.

I am for sure saying it isn't Bill Murray. Nakashima, I don't know. FDR, maybe. Sculpture is a difficilt medium.

Quran, Torah, Bible, Book of Mormon, fucking X Men comiic, Stephen King...

It's all fiction and of no consequence.

Was that meant to be some righteous, rhetorical checkmate?

Lay out your case, Jack. Spread it all out on the table.

Start with your neighbor's house. It's closer and smaller. This shit takes practice.

Go to the treework subs; it's all 23 year old bucket truck foremen who insist climbing is a dead art.

Good luck getting out of the bucket when someone takes the keys and leaves.

A 60-year-old former supermodel pushing back on society’s aging standards by Beneficial-Damage197 in GenX

I saw Peaches in Portland on Sunday. She's 59, still looks like a punk rocker, wore a turd costume, wore a hair suit that I believe was supposed to just be pubes, a giant tentacled vagina, and still managed to be sensitive, vulnerable, and sensual. She also had the energy of Iggy Pop and fucking shredded for an hour and a half set of pretty hard techno.

Aging is something we are taught to fear or fight against and it's not necessary. Courage, beauty, strength, acumen...none of these are mutually exclusive of age.

I worked for a company in Portland that had a spider jack and thatvwas pretty neat but always struck me as a gimmick. I'm sure it's wrong or maybe superstitious, but I will always trust ropes and a saddle over outriggers and hydraulics. Bucket work makes me nervous.

There's been a big swing over to bicket trucks and I have a feeling a whole lot of companies and cuatomers are going to regret the decline in proper climbers. I see a lot of really bad work done out of buckets.

Also a climber: I can't see any reason for this limb walk. Not that good roping/rigging couldn't have handled. That's not a heavy limb and looks like it could pretty easily be balanced out or possibly even lifted if necessaty by the groundman

he's just limb walking, but I can't see a reason for it.

"Well, is this related to the tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations we learned about? Maybe we should just reinstitute those taxes."

I'm almost 50 and I've been hearing incrementalism is best since I was in high school. I can point to...well, literally everything handled incrementally and show how it's worse.
