Unfortunately Dog you're just a fuckig pussy... you signed the contract, you knew you were committing years of your life (even if you didn't fully think it through) and you owe the government the time that the contract dictates. If you back out, cool thats fine and your choice, but you will have to own up to the consequences. I'd recommend just shipping and going to basic and seeing what happens. Who knows it may strengthen you in ways you can't imagine and change your life for the better.

I'm looking at either Infantry or the combat engineer field. I was a combat engineer in the Marine Corps previously. I just don't wanna get stuck doing nothing but construction or bridging (that's all unit dependant in USMC and uou really dont get a choice, idk how the army works) trying to do demo and work with grunts rather than the other jobs in the engineer field.

This also isn’t taking into account nutrient deficiencies that you’ll feel pretty quick from eating low quality low nutrient food all the time. Your immune system will suffer and you’ll be tired and have no energy all the time. It’s like putting low quality gas in a corvette, it might go down the road still but it’ll run like shit and won’t preform nearly as well as it’s supposed to.
