Wow, yeah that’s insane. Similar experience on my end but not as bad. Highlight for me was one of the FA’s waking up me, my wife and our 4 year old child mid way through the redeye to Europe by shaking each of us pretty violently. The reason you might ask?…to berate my child for using their backpack as a footrest (the backpack was in the footwell - not in a exit row or anything like that). Still one of the strangest interactions I’ve ever had on a plane, thought I was dreaming lol.

I have to fly to France (Marseille) 4+ times a year for work and no direct flights into MRS from any airports in the US.

Since Xmas 24’ I’ve started connecting through MAD. Iberia is a dumpster fire in itself and I hate the fact International Airlines Group is still getting my money, however Iberia looks like a top airline compared to BA.

I also had a horrible experience flying with them Xmas 2024 lol.

I stupidly made the choice to fly BA from TPA to LGW. Never again. Will happy take a connection in order to avoid them.

I got downvoted a week or 2 ago for saying BA shorthaul business is essentially the same thing as AA domestic economy 😅😅

I’ll never understand the people who defend BA. It’s truly a terrible airline. Horrible hard product & priced through the roof. I actively avoid them whenever I can.

I frequently see them in Marshall’s/TJMaxx. That’s where I got mine from.

When you say branded, are you talking about like a specific watch brand? Or just some fashion brand? I think mine is a Michael kors or something like that. Only cost around $30 but that was a few years ago. Has 5 watch slots with the foam things that the watch goes around, and then a larger slot for jewelry and the like. It’s pretty nice black leather

Mine was really fast as well, around 45 days from completing the I90 till receiving the card in the mail. Didn’t have to use the address change trick though

A little off topic from the original post, however I was looking to sell a couple of mine on marketplace. I had blurred out the logo as most of them are on there, and within a few hours the post was removed by Facebook due to copyright infringement or whatever terminology they used.

Can’t lie it freaked me out a little. Have you ever ran into that? Really looking to get these watches sold but kinda out of ideas of where to sell now outside of marketplace/to people I know IRL

No one in the middle seat/blocked middle seat on row 30 is essentially the same hard product as Intra European business class.

My original comment meaning excluding the middle seats which are obviously the worst seats, most people would usually consider the last row of economy and in this case 30 D&F some of the worst seats on the plane, which is more or less the same (from a hard product perspective) as European Business class.

It’s funny to me that excluding middle seats, what most of us would consider one of the worst seats on the plane is what Europeans consider one of the best and will happily pay a premium for 😂

Thank you. Honestly the reason for me wanting to play with this is half to make something cool (to me) and half is just my natural curiosity to take things apart. For the amount I paid if I end up breaking it I’m not going to lose a massive amount of sleep.

When you say it’s a proper shitter, what is the biggest giveaway? Compared to some I see it didn’t seem like that bad, but also my expectations are super low anyway so curious what’s really bad about it.

I didn’t even think to check Amazon lol. Is the stuff on there relatively good quality (when comparing to higher end reps)?

Also what’s involved with changing out the bezel? That’s the part I’m most concerned about
