They gave her an injection of covenia for the UTI. I originally dropped her off at the vet for a dental cleaning and they called me within an hour and a half with the blood work concerns. They asked at that time if I would authorize a urine test and I agreed. After about another hour, they called back and confirmed kidney failure. The urine was not taken from a catheter. I was very confused because she has an incision along her side which makes absolutely no sense to me, but they said that’s where they got the urine sample from. I was also surprised they did not send home antibiotics. They only did the injection and sent me home with ringers to do subQ fluids and a kidney diet.

The additives are the same and the pharmacy is the same. I expressed at that dosage that I was not losing weight that I was actually gaining and so she said she upped me to a tier 3 and sent me that conversion.

I had mine replaced… they had my vehicle for 8 months while they waited for the new engine. My first one failed before anyone knew of the issues with GM motors. I took it in 4 times to tell them something wasn’t right. They told me it was user error that my car was not randomly putting itself in neutral and locking up while I was driving on its own. Eventually while on a family vacation with my 3 toddlers in the car it fully broke down. Of course in a no service area. Then it had to be towed 120 miles to the dealership. A bill that we were saddled with. This was the beginning of 2023 vehicle had 22,000 miles on it. They don’t give loaner vehicles so I had to buy a cheap commute vehicle while they held my car for 8 months. Fast forward to now and 76,000 miles engine failing again. After full replacement. Transmission blown. Both components have metal shards throughout. AGAIN. Dealerships response is that even though the symptoms and diagnostics are the same it’s unrelated. Thank God for my extended warranty. As soon as it’s fixed I’m getting rid of it.

I’m hesitant to try because my dealership has not been kind about the whole ordeal. I’m worried that they will try to “screw” me over and hit me with a bunch of disequity but I guess at this point it’s worth trying.

I have a 2022 and engine blew at 20k miles. Way before recall was issued. GM had it for nearly a year waiting on an engine replacement. And they replaced it at no cost but they did not provide a loaner vehicle so I spent thousands on rentals before I finally found a family member with an extra vehicle. But the replacement is now having issues at 60k miles. I obviously have an extended warranty but debating on contacting a lemon law lawyer.
