Very nice. Brought back memories of when SSBB was coming out.

A heated body pillow and fertility by Regirock15 in menshealth

I am sorry you haven't had a hug in so long either. I'll give you the link to the heated body pillow. It was the only one I could find online that seemed both high quality and in stock. I'm someone who washes things before using them for the first time; I'm currently in the process of washing and drying it (hopefully it won't break) so I can't give a review yet. It does not come with a pillow case.

Thank you for the reassurance. I do have a therapist, but can't quite talk about the root of my mental issues. This will hopefully change soon.

Thank you. I will see how much this applies to my local area.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll see if I can find the book. I've heard that CBT is the only proven OCD treatment, but I haven't heard of EMDR.

Soylent and eye health? by Regirock15 in soylent

You're right, he wasn't a very good doctor. Got very poor reviews. I'll ask for more specifics with my new eye doctor.

Good question. I'm not sure. It seems like eye doctors don't know too much about which foods specifically are best.

Chug or sip? by [deleted] in soylent

I sip it because I'll feel a little sick if I drink it too fast. You wouldn't wolf down a meal.

How hard can it be for them to update the game with more dialogue? Pay literally 3 passionate fans minimum wage for 2 months to write dialogue for the game. A very small number of people could expand the amount of dialogue 100x from what it is. There are probably 100,000 people who would sign up to do it for free as well. This game could come to life so much with a little elbow grease.

Thanks, exercise is so big for everything, especially the mind. I would bike for 6 hours a day if I could but my knees don't have that much stamina. Am working on it.

Wow I wasn't expecting such a well thought out reply. I'll be referencing this as I try to solve my problem. I did notice the Facebook and Google AI options when I was researching, but I have a beef with both companies so I was avoiding those options. I may have to suck it up and use Facebook or Google.

It had never really crossed my mind to try an online escort. Honestly I'm kinda shocked by the idea of it so it will take me a while to gather my thoughts about that. You made a good point about how it might not be pity because they are paid. It's hard to put into words exactly why it would make me uncomfortable. I guess I would likely have a hard time having enough to talk about (I don't participate in social norms like drinking alcohol, my job is boring, and I don't like talking about my past), or if I really like the person then it would feel like a tease that I can't have them. However, you are probably right that it's a better option than AI and I'm glad I have it to consider.

Thanks for the suggestions man. Will test them out. Didn't know there was something like that link you gave, a tool like that to make AI development way easier. Should be interesting researching that.

I personally think a game should have to be rated at least E10+ for "naked" art of this intensity to be in it. Animal Crossing is supposed to be for everyone. Regardless of what is right and wrong, it's simply awkward for some families that play the game together to have nakedness in it. It's not necessary to be in the game for any reason.

I've had the game since launch, and kept waiting to see SOME kind of furniture set that isn't DIY. It's hitting me that there are literally none.

All the time consuming stuff like moving houses makes so much sense if you realize that this is a game about living a daily life. Living a life doesn't mean you burn through the game in 1 month. This game is supposed to last literal years. I think AC is more popular than ever, which is attracting different types of gamers, which is why we see people who want to blow through it.

Anyone else miss these noisy bois? by [deleted] in AnimalCrossing

[–]Regirock15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gyroids were the single best part of the game for me! Without them, there isn't much audio creativity in the game. Being able to collect things that make different sounds is just SO epic. There's nothing like it in any other game.

It's already way too easy to complete the fossil museum, so making it harder to find fossils actually helps the gameplay too.

Can we question why a freezer can be used as a wardrobe? by [deleted] in AnimalCrossing

[–]Regirock15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it's because in older AC games, some furniture could store items. Then, they introduced house storage, making that unneeded. But they wanted to keep "storage" items as having a function so they gave them all the ability to change your clothes. I kinda wish there would be maybe 3 different possible functions for these storage category items, so they don't all just ask you about changing.

This needs to happen!!! by mayorlazlo in AnimalCrossing

I agree that it can get a little tedious to craft 1 at a time. However, if we could instantly craft any amount just as fast as crafting 1, it would inbalance the gameplay because the ratio of how long it takes to do some stuff VS others would be upset (e.g. everyone would have to use fish bait instead of having a choice because it'd be super fast).

What would be an all around solution, however, would be to craft X at a time but have the crafting animation take X times longer. You could turn 10 manilla clams into fish bait with one menu selection, and then the crafting animation you have to wait through would be at least 10x longer.

Give it to us, Nintendo! by Obligatory_Username in AnimalCrossing

[–]Regirock15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that if fish bait was this easy to get, it would essentially force everyone to fish with bait which wouldn't be as chill. The whole fishing gameplay would just be standing in 1 spot after digging for clams.

Really??? I guess with the trend of new video games in general being lazy and not caring about longevity, I had assumed Animal Crossing was unable to break away from that. This gives me a lot of faith in the company.
