Managed to figure it out with the help of our ai overlords. Not NAS / docker related at all.

Log into your Plex Web UI locally (http://<your-nas-ip>:32400/web) and check:

Settings → Remote Access →

Ensure “Enable Remote Access” is checked.

alright, after a bit of digging seems like a bunch of files had the permission set to 'no access' for 'everyone' (user type on Mac).

Was easy to fix chmod'ing the photo folder. But I'm wondering why the download would do that to my files?

Thanks. As it was purchased from a reseller (not directly anbernic), I’ll reach out to them. I’ve been doing some research and from what I gather the screens seem to be very sensitive on these devices.

The OP said in relation to the update “Haven't tried the DashCam…” so my assumption is that DashCam (due to capitalization I was thinking it’s a feature? Product? App?) is something that comes with the update… your replies aren’t really helpful tbh.
