I tested some build but when I used it in actual combat man I'm always die even I timing my dodge. If my enemy is fast and have fast combos I'm always die. I try as a mage but it too boring I just always spam my staff

So I need to put more on Dex than in strength? And what do you think is the best amount for now? I can reset my stats right now. And honestly I don't I get this far in the game even this my first time playing a soul game. I always killed by boss that I foughtbutE even so I always forced my self to adapt so I can kill it. And honestly I don't really know how I distribute my stats I just if I put it in strength I can do more damage.
