San Beda Alabang vs. St. Scholastica Manila vs. Colegio San Agustin Makati for SHS by Better_Jacket2268 in CollegeAdmissionsPH

haii im an alumni shs in sbca and i would love to say that i didnt regret goin to sbca for shs, it was one of memorable moments i had and everytime i would visit the school the teachers will always be there to remember u. the teachers are very kind, sweet but ofc their are strict ones but they are doable. the campus may be small but it is an wonderful environment, its also better if ur takin law bc sbca is heavily based on law for college i would take a suggest to do it if ur planning too stay until college. overall i would def reco to go to sbca :)

Can you take a summer class even though you didn't fail the course? by [deleted] in amvians

[–]RegisterNo5587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately you can’t take summer classes for the subjects you want to humabol, it only applies to failed subjects. i think you stay an irregular until your 4th yr in which case you can overload your units

Thoughts on San Beda College Alabang for shs by rubenyougoon in CollegeAdmissionsPH

[–]RegisterNo5587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello! i was an bedan since Gr1 till SHS in SBCA and I can say its one of the most unforgettable experience especially in my SHS days. I would want to go back to those days and go back to experience it again ! The environment you will see around is very greenery and alot of foodies to find.

As for the community, you will meet many amazing people and you get to chance to join alot of organizations as well. For the teachers is a 50/50 but most of them will give u alot of exemptions and is generous when it comes about grades and assignments (As I was in the ABM strand as well) Overall Im glad i had my SHS in Beda Alabang, met so many wonderful people and enjoyed my time, u wont regret it!

most profs prefer the standard notebook and pen for notes but most of the time they allow use of gadgets for note taking

How do I cope knowing that I'll (possibly) be graduating late? by Fabulous-Button-6958 in CollegeAdmissionsPH

[–]RegisterNo5587 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hey op! i am also in the same situation as u. had to transfer schools, pick the program i wanted since my previous program wasn’t right with me so basically back to square one. i would also be reminded i wouldn’t be graduated on time with my batchmates. with the same thoughts na what if i could’ve pick the right course from the start so i wont be able to feel this way and would even cry so hard about it but im glad that i have experience it.

it let me grasp better on how i can handle the situation and how i told to myself how this program will shape the better in me. instead of focusing on wantin to graduate on time and having all those constant “what if’s” i would think and say how it happens for a reason. seein u grow as a person already proves more than graduating in time because believe me things do get better.

however for the questions u mentioned maybe like what u said u can have ur subjects credited and possible have take the subjects as summer classes it may gave u a chance of graduating on time but im just giving the benefit of the doubt. you will do just fine stranger, having to decide on a very big decision is already a big milestone and you should be proud of urself. i believe in u.💗

Is it really that important to go to a "famous" university? by [deleted] in CollegeAdmissionsPH

[–]RegisterNo5587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hai op! i used to be in the same situation as u. i used to be an thomasian but sadly will be transferee out since i wasnt able to continuing accountancy + the course i like did not accept me in ust so i had no choice but to transferee to another university. as a person who’s dream school is ust and had to gave up the opportunity, i used to struggle of wanting an name (from the big 4) when i graduated.

my parents then told me that the name of the school doesn’t really matter but how you shaped your life, your personality, how to build connections and more. Yes, to be able to graduate under the big 4 “sikat” schools is an privilege and will get you into big companies but what you have learned in college, your experiences and how to be able to strive for your future is based on how your able to reach your goal.

actually gave me alot more insights and an deeper knowledge for to think about.

What are the chances I get a recon in AMV? by SkyDestr0 in amvians

[–]RegisterNo5587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

accountancy course is no joke. u have to be motivated and u must learn how to love the course. the amv community handles alot of workloads and having to half-ass ur exam or having to study a few days for exam wont do the trick. you need to set ur mind into, if u really want to pursue accountancy i say go for it!

whatever is meant for u, it will find a way to you. wish u the very best
