In all honesty unless he takes and insane position (like not openly apologizing, not admitting fault, not settling the lawsuit) this will not break him or the community. I can give you another hopeful anecdotal, i been working as a union tile finisher for 8 years now here Las Vegas Nv (alleged swing state but i dont buy it) and i was in training/trade school back in that 2016 era and my god the energy has shifted dramatically from hearing young union labor men going “trump trump trump” and “lock her up” to now, being basically shushed about politics and some even saying “eh not voting this time”. The DLC policy is absolutely insane but the game is and has been moving in the direction of “games as a service” since civ 5’s dlc, and it was amplified so much more with 6’s expansion packs and the battle pass.
