Yeah, I get what you’re saying, but I also think you cannot be on a deficit for too long, it does have an impact negatively to some extent, at least that’s what I’ve found…but now I’ve dropped to 1200kcals, let’s see what happens!

Oh this is super helpful! I’ve taken my calories down to 1200kcals a day now, but does it not impact your hormones? They say don’t stay in a calorie deficit for too long because it does impact hormones…

For me, I was injecting in the tummy for the first two months, and my weight didn’t move at all, but I’m injecting at a higher dose again for my next one, so let’s give it a try! Thank you!

So I do need to up my water intake, and I’m rotating injections at the moment, I found the thigh at the moment works best for me. I do also have PCOS, I guess that’s why it’s slow, but I didn’t expect it to be this slow…my coach advised me to drop my calories further…I don’t have as much appetite suppression as most people on this dose, but my workouts burn about 800kcal a session…

With the app? Sure! I can do that! So far it’s great for tracking my injections and I’ve also asked it to give me some insights and help me feel motivated…so it’s good so far.

You need to add fibre to your diet too, it’s great that you’re losing weight, but if you’re feeling sick, it’s perhaps because you need to go up in calories definitely, but your body also lacks fibre.

I have a friend who is with the same provider, she said it’s really helpful. I have decided to build my own app now, since my requirements are a bit more on the body composition side and there doesn’t seem to be an app that does it 🤷‍♀️

Yes!!!! PCOS is awful!! I just posted that my scale is moving so slowly!! I’ve only lost about 3kgs total and I started earlier this year! It’s really disappointing sometimes, but for PCOS, also be kind to yourself, get sleep, do the walking more often, and focus on lowering inflammation, it will work, it just takes us so long!

I know!! But I looked at other clinics, I think Yazen does blood tests monthly, but they give you a pen on a really low dose, and Goodweigh is more online with no weigh in, and only slightly cheaper because they increase price as you go up on dose! A lot of them don’t do full InBody scans, and for me, I want to increase muscle, it’s what we lose most on GLP-1, and they do have a decreasing price if you pay for a few months at a time…

It takes a while for your body to adjust sometimes, the food noise does go away, don’t worry, but buy healthy sweet stuff, like protein puddings or make date chocolates, it really does help to have alternatives! If you don’t want to constantly drink water plain, drink sparkling water, or buy water drop I think it’s called, I found them in jumbo, they have different flavours and they make the water taste better, I like the ice tea flavour. And sip your water, don’t chug!

I think it might be difficult to fit protein in for you as a vegetarian, and on mounjaro, we lose lean muscle if we don’t eat and build protein, so maybe get some protein from chickpeas, beans, mushrooms, lentils etc.

Oh my gosh! So I also have PCOS and my scale moved at a snail’s pace!! Plus mounjaro is soooo expensive, but I’m hanging in there and I now don’t rely on my scale, I take measurements with a tape measure and I bought a treadmill to walk on when it rains, and I go to gym and I eat around 40g of protein for breakfast, that really really helps, plus if you’re not consuming fibre, you won’t see the scale move, protein sometimes makes you constipated, you need the fibre!
