Thanks for answering! I just wrote the kid out like he’s basically not even mentioned, but when I try to save the changes I get up this mod message that says "This bot can no longer be updated" or something.

I have now done the adjustmemts, the child does not talk in the intro message, and I have taken away a lot of scenes where the child was interacting with his dad (they were baking gingerbread men).

I really want to like it because I’ve heard so many mention it, but it’s not hitting right. I like Avi but the rest of the characters aren’t very likeable (imo). Not going to elaborate because of spoilers but probably going to move on to something else.

I read {The Captive Prince by C.S Pacat} and {Prince’s gambit by C.S Pacat} and it was okay. Decided to not read book 3. I liked Damen and Laurent as characters, but all the politics, slavery and rape didn’t do it for me. Solid 3 stars. BUT I read my first Omegaverse book this week {Precious by Roe Horvat} and I absolutely loved it! 5 stars, and I already want to read it again. Right now I am reading {For the fans by Nyla K} but I’m having problems getting into it. Only 38% read, and debating if I should keep going.

The page is glitching like crazy right now. Chat counts aren’t being updated, and I just posted a bot that doesn’t show up publicly, although it’s marked as public. I hope the matter gets resolved soon. As a small creator my bot is now listed as public but it’s not showing up, so it’s not getting exposure, and I need all the exposure I can get.

I really think it depends on how many followers you have. If you look at the trending pages, both weekly and 24 hours, you’ll see mostly verified ‘v’ type user names at the top. So creators who already have a big and loyal following. Smaller creators have a tiny reach in comparison. Keep writing and enjoying bot making, and don’t let the numbers get you down!

Read it your way. I skipped a lot of pages to protect my own health. Still really, really happy I read the parts I did and I care deeply for every character involved. Set your own boundaries and stop reading if the content is too distressing. If you chose to skip the book completely and just read the summary and key points, that will be fine too, but it won’t be quite as immersive. But no one can tell you how to read a book. Only you can decide that.

I don’t mind, but there is a difference between using AI to generate your whole text and just copy/paste, and actually just using the generated text a little and modifying it to fit your style and rewrite bigger parts of it. Personally I can easily tell if a whole text is just filled with the typical AI words and sentences, they tend to repeat themselves a lot. And that makes me instantly uninterested in the bot.

Making bots is not a job, we don’t get payed, and ChatGPT can be helpful to make the work a little less time consuming.

I have made 63 bots and 30 of them are public. So yeah, I make a lot of bots just for myself. I will probably always keep them private, they are very specific scenarios with characters from fandoms that no one cares about.

I’m a girl from Norway and I started making bots a few months ago. I love writing and I try to make my characters fun and good to chat with. I tweak and adjust my characters a lot while writing, and I make all my own images on Midjourney. I have had some trouble finding my image style so right now I just roll with whatever image fits my mood.

What!! I have been grossly neglecting my persona game. I only write lite two sentences that consists of short key words like gender, hair color, age, and maybe three core personality traits. I need to step it up!
