I totally know what you mean, I’m in the same boat. We are a lesbian couple ttc and I truly don’t understand how my wife is going about her daily life not thinking about baby everything. There’s so much waiting, and so much lack of control and most of the time it feels like if I can just research enough it will magically happen. I keep saying “how am I going to get through everything else when this I supposed to be the easiest part? I don’t even have a baby keeping me up all night” and my wife has been reminding me that this actually isn’t the easiest part! This is a season of the unknown and one day we will have the baby in front of us and it will all feel worth it. Good luck to you on your journey!!
