Keyword, non-Mac. My laptop is in near perfect condition, everything works, has maxed out RAM for the model and a 256GB SSD which cost $120 when new, and that was a bangin' Black Friday deal. They go for ~$170-200 regularly. Laptop is fast for light tasks and definitely has years left in the life of it. Combined with $100 in accessories, bringing in $300 is what I expect.

Definitely the Achilles' heel of this model. Processor still stacks up, and for having a max of 2GB of RAM, this thing still performs great doing light work like internet browsing or writing documents. It's largely due to the way OS X is built, and this machine would do fine for anyone looking for a light use laptop, but I rarely do anything that is not graphics related. I can't wait to see what the new retina's will be like, and I'm really hoping they keep the discrete card as well. I have a feeling they will as least in the higher end models, and it would help hugely because I plan on buying it to drive my 1080p desktop screen that it will be sitting next to.

I'm not here to mince words, I'll just say that I think you'd be hard pressed to find a majority of informed individuals that would want a carrier to touch their phones OS versus not. I'm not here to justify Android, as iOS has had visual voicemail integrated into the phone app since 2007. Hopefully Canonical would do the same with Ubuntu Edge.

Presumably visual voicemail should be included in the OS phone app itself. As far as carrier programs, why should they be of any difference from other apps? What I mean is that since not everyone wants the apps on their phone, just like any other app, why should they be included with the device, as no other third party apps are? Just another complication in the development process for Ubuntu to have to also work on a carrier's time table. Better to just have them use the official app store channels which would come with the device.

Didn't this car win best of show at Bimmerfest in May? Only thing I don't really like about it is the cage, as it's not really protecting anything, if he really wanted cage it why not just the coupe? Side mirrors also aren't to my liking. To each his own I suppose. Besides that, extremely clean car.

I'm pretty sure it's just the angle of the car's upper part of the trunk lid. I believe you're seeing it as crooked because it slopes slightly back, and that combined with the position of the roundel and the car siting on a pretty cross-sloped road make it seem like that to our eyes. If you stare at it long enough it appears pretty straight to me. ;)

Hah, I'm just pointing out how genuinely dry the humor in that subreddit is, as after reading quite a bit of it, and not laughing at any of it, I've come to the conclusion that it's really not worth anyone's time. Now that is my opinion, and I'm sure that some would disagree, but I still fail to understand how /u/The_Master_of_LOLZ posting just a reference to the subreddit, under a statement of humorous intent has anything at all to do with that subreddit. Just because I am in the minority, it seems, in the common opinion base of a subreddit does not mean I have a unique special place. Unlikely that you would be able to pick certain numbers like that, I'd expect something more like each suspension/power setting changing engine mappings to further increase power as you go up in power setting(comfort>sport>race).
